I''ve been playing since my high school team 23 years ago, and NEVER played with clubs this sweet. It does everything they claim. Gets the ball up faster, gives you 10 to 20 yards more distance, and is unbelievably forgiving on miss-hits. NO STINGING or CLUBHEAD TWIST. It feels like hitting butter, it''s so soft on sweetspot hits. They immediately improved my game. Oh, I forgot, they are also extremely accurate...again even on misfires. Anyone who says they are innacurate, is blaming the club for THEIR (bad swing)...hint hint...you may need lessons instead. Finally the price was astounding for clubs of this quality. It was a no brainer between Ping eye 2''s and these. They are a better all around clubs , and several hundreds cheaper. I hope you can still find them somewhere. If so you WILL not be sorry you bought them. Happy Golfing! :)

I had been looking for a club that had just the right balance and swing weight. I swung every club in several large stores and hit quite a few in their test area. The Top Flites kept coming out on top, even over clubs costing 2 to 3 times as much.
On the course these clubs are great. I have had them for 2 years now and 2 close friends have hit them, one ordered a set the next day (got rid of his Black Cats)and the other is still looking for a set.
These clubs are long and forgiving. Trajectory is not overly high so you can hit them long and yet high enough to hold the green. I hit the pw aroung 120 yds and the 7 around 150 yds. Yardage difference between each club is very consistant.
I know of no other club for $300 that even comes close (remember, these are a tour quality club that have matched shafts and heads) For me the only clubs that I have swung (not hit)which feel as good are the top of the line Calaway x-14's that are about $1200. The "muscle" graphite shaft is far better than the earlier graphite shaft, so make sure you get it if you buy graphite.
If you can get your hands on a set- do it. You will not be sorry.

These are really good irons if your looking for a solid feeling club that is very forgiving. These are not blades, so I won't compare the two styles, but these irons are still very crisp. All levels of golfers can benefit from this club. Very good bang for the buck!

Just wanted to relate to everyone the results of my personal test between these irons and the Mizuno Ti-insert irons. And the winner is... the Top-Flites! Their forgiveness, solid feel and increased workability over the Mizunos won me over. The Mizunos are probably more forgiving and are definitely longer but I just found that the Top-Flite Tour-Ti delivers more of a complete package. I would whole heartedly recommend either set to anyone, however. On top of all this, I only paid $275 for the Top-Flites (steel shaft), BRAND NEW at closeout! When I'm able to play as much as I would like, I may gravitate back to playing blades. But in the meantime, these irons are a welcomed addition to my bag!

Hit irons from every name brand last fall to see what I wanted to buy for this season. The Top-Flite Tis gave me the best results by a large margin. They have a soft feel, they're straight as an arrow and very, very long. Plus, you can get these at a great price. Top-Flite stopped making clubs, they are only using the Ben Hogan name. Got a set w/graphite shafts for $399 at www.golfequipmentcloseouts.com. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

At the present time, I'm embroiled in my own personal playoff to decide which irons to play. It's between these irons and the Mizuno T3 Ti-insert irons (see my review for them also). Admittedly, I would have to say that the Mizuno's hold the lead, ever so slightly. But my preference between the two literally changes by the day, they're that close. These irons set up nice with moderate offset. Not so much where it seems awkward, yet just enough to inspire confidence in squaring the clubface at impact. The most impressive thing about this set would have to be that every club feels and swings the same. Smooth short irons, dead-on accurate mid irons, and easy swinging long irons. Not as forgiving as the Mizunos but plenty more forgiving than anything else I've tried besides them. Distance is very good, longer than steel clubheads. These clubs excel in their fine weighting and balance and tremendous versatility. They also offer excellent forgiveness with fine distance. They would appeal to a wider variety of players too. I find them much easier to "work" than the Mizunos. Overall a great set of irons and one that any player could fall in love with. And one that just may find a place in my bag, permamently. The race is on!

I'm reposting my ad because when they updated this web site my post got deleted. I feel these club deserve a fair shake against the other GIANTS. I have been playing them for 2 years now and have not found a longer, more forgiving club. Has Top-Flite dropped out of the club making business? You look at the other companies and every year there is new model. Spalding now has the Ben Hogan line so I guess Top Flite has taken a back seat: or, is it because they can't improve on what they already have? Nonetheless these clubs still perform up the the newer models. Give them a try if you are looking for a new set of sticks. I have seen them pretty cheap on the internet. So the bargain prices are out there.

They are easy to hit and very forgiving irons. I upgraded to these after having played the Top flite Tour Mid Size model for a couple of years, a very good set as well. After adjusting to the slightly heavier oversized clubhead, my accuracy and control improved even more. Above average length ( I can hit my regular flex 7-iron 160-165 yards! ), ease of hitting out of the rough and workability for draws and fades makes these titanium faced beauties a winner all the way! The 1999 DuPont Coolmax World Amateur Handicap Championship winner played with these, bought only a few months earlier ( with a graphite shaft )! An excellent set that is highly recommend for golfers of any skill level. Just added the Mid, Sand and Lob wedges of this kind to my bag, which were found on eBay.

Good all around club. You can tell these are not the top of the line, but a nice step up from the hand me downs. All around good bang for the buck. Look around they are dirt cheap.

This is by far the best irons I have ever hit. I never thought I would be in the 30's on any nine before I had these. I shot a 40 - 38 79 total and I blame it all on these irons. I would be there more if I would just put my driver away. Anyway I know this is an overused word but AWESOME is the only one I can think of. BUY BUY BUY ! ! !
