I first looked into these after using the 845s for awhile, and finding these on ebay for ultra cheap. I have to say, I was very surprised at how good these irons are.

First of all, they are very forgiving while maintaining a traditional look at address. The clubhead is not too big, topline pretty thin, especially for a GI iron. I'm not a great ball striker and have trouble with blades, but have absolutely no problem with these.

Each type of iron has a distinct feel, with the 9 and PW having by far the best. Much better feel overall than the SGI irons I'm used to. They are a little heavy, which I like personally but some may not like.

Not the longest irons around, being weakly lofted (which I love, PW at 47*).

This set really just has what I'm looking for in my game right now. More feel and better looking at address than the SGI irons I've tried, while still maintaining great forgiveness. I think this set of irons suits a wide range of players, who don't struggle with distance but are looking for feel and forgiveness.

I have had these clubs for 2 years and bought them for the quality of the Tommy Armour brand...I had 845's before. I wanted the look of a blade with a little forgiveness and that is what I received with this set. I like the look of the clubs and the forgiveness is decent on off center hits. I am looking for a new set now but would recommend this to any mid handicapper looking for a good product at a cheaper price.

I've had these clubs for almost 3 years now. They have served me very well and have carried me through some significant improvements in my iron game.

Knowing what I know now, I would have gone with stiffer shafts...but that's my fault. At the time I was new to golf and did not realize the important of the shaft.

I will put my Morphs aside for a new set with less offset and of course stiffer shafts as mentioned.

I really liked the different configurations, especially the blade short irons. When you hit one pure you can really feel it. Good clubs and a good value.

These clubs are the perfecto combination of qualty and price. An absolute bargain for what they offer. Tremendous feel, great forgiveness. I have Rifle 5.5 shafts and Lampkin Cross-Line grips, my only critigue is that I should have went with a 6.5, but the heads are a magnificent value.

These Irons are great for me. I hit every club straighter and further than my Gary Players. These Morph Irons are great quality, design and they work wonderfully, at the range at least. I've only hit them at the range so far, and they have done great.

I bought this set after much comparison with other sets. I considered Nike, Cleveland and used Titliest. I took Morphs and Nikes and tried them at Golf Galaxy, yes Nikes felt better with a better distance, but whenever I got everything right Morphs performed just as well. 3 iron was consistently going 175 yards, which is good considering the price and the shaft. I got these re-gripped because the original grips are very thin even for me (5'8"). 8,9 are decent and not that good but I did hit 6 and 9 between 125 and 150 again not bad. One + point for these clubs is the wide sole (for starters). Since I shoot in 100s I hope to improve my game with this set. I got a steal when I bought these brand new (3-SW) with free shipping (next day) for $100!!

I bought these clubs because I wanted to try a combo set of irons without having to pay top dollar for the name Nike or Titleist. While I'm not saying that these are the grey poupon of irons, they have definitely provided me with the satisfaction I would expect out of a $180 set of irons.

I find the heads of the long irons to have too thick of a top line and too wide of a sole. The mid-irons play very well. Great distance and a relatively penetrating ball flight. The only short-irons I'm playing are the 9-iron and the pitching wedge and I think these play wonderfully. Well-struck balls hiss through the air and check up like they're supposed to. The blade design is perfect for manipulating trajectory.

I love the RIFLE Flighted shafts so much that I'm going to put Project X shafts into my next set of irons (probably a combo of Mizuno MP-60s and 67s).

All in all, if you're shooting in the mid- to high-80s and working on your game, this is a great set of inexpensive irons to hone your skills.

I thought having different shafts for different irons to be a good idea so I bought a set on ebay to try them out. I used these irons for about a month and probably played 4 rounds of golf with them. I really disliked them and resold them on Ebay. There is a reason why these clubs are selling for so cheap. The different shafts between irons change my ball flight but I don’t want that. I sliced all my short irons and hooked all my long ones. The only thing I can hit straight was the middle irons. I’m a pretty solid ball striker so its not my swing. I went back to my old clubs with S300 shafts and found them to be longer and straighter. All the other reviews are also correct; the short irons are very short in distance even when you hit it perfect. I like to chip a lot with my P wedge and I found the P for this set to have no feel. If you shoot in the 100s these are cheap and probably better than most starter set, but if you want an upgrade, I would stay away!!

Bought these off ebay for 105 including shipping. Stiff rifle steel shafts and progressive head design. I do agree with the other reviewer that the short irons are shorter in distance, possibly due to the higher loft on pw, 9, and 8 than some other brands. It is a quality product and I hit them straight and a good distance if all is well with my swing mechanics. I'm not too concerned with the slight distance loss because I'd rather club up one and have more accuracy. I bought these because of the price, tommy armour (name brand for good price), and I needed some new clubs. I am satisfied with the quality and performance.
