Titleist ZM irons
Best club i have ever hit. Before I bought them I read many reviews, and each reviewer says the same thing leading me to believe they never actually hit the club. They all say it is less forgiving....so is golf!! With any club i have used ,I may miss hit 1 out of 10 .With these, the 9 good ones are superb ,long, straight, and easy to draw or fade.

I got these irons for a real good price(under 300$) with x100 shafts. I was so excited to go out and play, but I was shocked to notice that from 6iron and up, the ball goes nowhere! I didn't want to believe this because I really loved these irons, so I gave them a chance. But after a month of playing with them, I've come to the conclusion that these irons suck. They don't even feel forged, they have a sort of clanky feeling to them, and the worst part is that I've lost distance with these irons, about 1 and half club length. What I hate the most about these irons is that it doesn't reward me for making a good swing. Yea it goes at the target, but I like to be rewarded with that "buttery" flush shot feeling that I get with most any other blade. But not this one. I am extremely disappointed with titleist on this onee :( These irons had a lot of potential. In conclusion, they look great, but suck. Similar Products Used: Titleist 690mb

the zm's are very eye appealing irons. DONT BUY THESE IRONS IF YOU DO NOT HIT THE BALL SOLIDLY 90% OF THE TIME. the ball comes off the club face very low and penetrating. these are very workable irons and very solid. this is my first set of "player" irons and i will never go back to the very forgiving sets. i have rifle 5.5 shafts in them and would maybe try the project x. i play every day and shot a course record 62 this summer but still think these are tough to hit sometimes. if you can find a set for under $550, buy them. otherwise try mizuno or miura or ping. once again do not try to play these irons if you aren't a great iron player or you dont get to play every day or at least every other day. I purchased these last year and am very satisfied. But Titleist comes out with the MB iron which looks like a true muscle back and very similar to my 690 MBs. Because I'm enjoying these irons so much I'll pass on their latest offering.Aside from changing the lofts I do not think the skilled golfer will see any difference. I'm using a set of Mizuno MP7s now and aside from the 6 iron being comprable to a 7 iron today the clubs perform just as well. Dude, I took these out to the range and they were like so hard to hit I couldn't believe it. My Callaway Wide Sole Fusion irons are a lot easier to hit than things. Plus, these are like way expensive to buy. I thought these were supposed to be good clubs but I'm not so sure. I'll give them a good rating cause they look cool and I like the name "ZM"...it's kind of like "ZZZOOOOME". |
