I played Hogan Edge GS's for 10 years until they were stolen three years ago. Since then I have demo'ed just about every iron made and I have owned several different sets (thanks to Van's Golf). None of them ever felt "right", including other clubs by Ben Hogan. Since I wasn't playing often or particularly well, I even tried cast clubs against my better judgement. From the first time, I swung the 695 CB's, I knew I had found my clubs. They set up perfectly (with little offset) and inspire confidence at address. The clubheads are on the heavy side and give great feedback throughout the swing. The sensation with hitting the sweet spot is far superior to my old Hogan's, Mizuno's MP-60's or Taylor Made's RAC TP's. And they are much more forgiving than I would have expected from Titleist. Within two weeks of owing them, my ballstriking has improved dramatically. Distance and trajectory control (with DG S-300 shafts) are exceptional and I am better able to draw and fade the ball on command. Until I bought these clubs, I was thinking about taking a break from golf. Now I'm excited about playing and want to hit balls every day.
