Bought a slightly used set off Ebay based soley by the reviews on this site, and I am not dissapointed in the least. I had been playing an older set of Titleist 704 CBs and wanted irons with a little stronger lofts, but without sacrificing feel and workability and man, did I find it! I'm easily 1 club longer with these irons and can hit fades or draws just as well as I could with the 704s. The ball flight is noticably lower, but also much more penetrating. I also find these clubs to be just, if not more so, forgiving than the 704s. An off center hit still stay on line fairly well, with minimum loss of distance, for a forged iron anyway. The sweet spot on these clubs is exactly in the center of the face, and the ball just rockets off it. If you are a serious golfer looking to improve your game, don't go with the so called "game improvement" irons. Try a set of these - with proper practice they will make you a better ball striker. Plus, they look so good in your bag you will never take them out! I know I won't until I wear the grooves out. Customer Service Never dealt with Titleist. Never needed to. I play to a 6-7 handicap, and although I am over 50 years old still work hard at trying to improve my game. For that reason I try to give myself the best equipment to play with. I have owned many Nike, Mizuno and Titleist sets. I have played, pro-combos, mp32s, 33s,67s and t-zoid pro. Also 690 mbs and cbs and also have some 695mbs. As you can see by that list I have hit a lot of the best forged blades. These 695cbs however take the cake!! They are the longest, straightest, best feeling club I have ever used. The stronger lofts are great for an older player like me. The penetrating tradjectory is fantastic; and the solid feel out of the middle is second to none. I can still work the ball well with these clubs and feel they are every bit as reponsive as a blade. If you are a reasonable to good ball striker you MUST try these clubs. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!! Customer Service Bought mine in as new condition 2nd. hand, so did not deal with Titleist. Similar Products Used: Described in my review. |

WOW - they're great. After 7 years with the cobra T1's and shooting in the 70's regulary. I wanted an upgrade to a better playing iron and found it here. The feel is great, trajectory is a little lower than what i had been originally playing with but thats ok as the balls these days stop on the greens when hit pure.

For the last 12 years I have been playing the old DCI's and finally broke down and asked for new clubs for Christmas. Went to the PGA superstore in Frisco, TX (Awesome place by the way)and demoed the Tit 695 CB, Ping I10, and the Mizuno Forged. By far the 695CB looked and felt the best. Was consistently carrying the 6 Iron 190 195 yards which is further than I was hitting my old 5 iron. Had the chance to field test them this week, however the temp was about 40 degrees w/ a 20 mph wind, but that didn't effect my iron play. This club plays well in the wind b/c the ball comes off the face w/ such velocity and when you hit the sweet spot it a feeling like none other. ("butter" as I like to say). The other noticeable difference was the control. This club has much more control than my old DCI's. My natural ball flight is a left to right and w/ my old clubs had the tendendancy to turn more into a hook, but not this one even in the wind. Ball stays on a much more accurate line to your target. This one is well worth the money if you are looking to upgrade. Only draw back is they are so pretty you don't want to get them dirty. Customer Service Had manfufacturer bend them 2 deg upright and they had them to me in 4 days. |

These are the best (and greatest looking) clubs from Titleist along with the 695 MB. Although they are quite expensive, they are worth every penny. Customer Service Good Similar Products Used: Too many to list |

I bought these irons before even hitting them before. They are a true titleist club. forgiveness is fair, however the forged design alows me to work the club like a blade. Workability, and forgiveness, great iron for a lower handicap golfer. Also the stronger lofts alow me to keep the ball flight down as oppose to my old callaway X-14 Similar Products Used: Callaway X-14 |

I agree with the other reviewers--these irons are fantastic! I've never hit an iron that transfers energy to the ball so efficiently. I usually try and stay away from aping the company's sales lines, but these really do have a sweet spot that is truly in the center of the clubface--the Tileist engineers pulled off a brilliant piece of work!---you really do notice the difference, soft feel, yet the ball just rockets off the clubface. The 2 degree stronger lofts do add distance, but the distance also comes from a great design. I also own the 695MB, and it is similiar, but it has a higher center of gravity and maybe a touch less offset, so it would be a better choice for someone who puts more of a premium on workability. Both are top notch picks and should be considered along with the Mizuno MP67 for someone looking for the best irons the market has to offer IMO. If you play in consistently windy conditions, then these 695CB's are absolutely perfect--very long, extremely accurate, with a nice piercing trajectory--they are expensive, but worth every penny! The 695 MB irons are definately the best irons in the world. They will make any golfer better. They are so smooth and solid and don't feel bad at all if you don't hit the sweet spot. If you are a 13 handicapper or lower, don't get Mizuno, Cleveland, Callaway, or even Nike, Titleist is definately the way to go. The best thing is that all Tileist irons are FORGED so you can cvhange the specs of the club any time. |
