I bought these for $81 at Golf Galaxy 3 weeks ago. Since then, I have shot 75, 75 and 79. The only reason for the 79 was bad putting and a drive out of bounds. I was a little concerned when I bought these because instead of Dynamic Gold they were equipped with the Titleist Tri Spec stiff shafts. I actually love the shafts and they give me the perfect ball flight. These clubs have a nice soft feel to them. In addition, the 990 irons are much more accurate than my former Ping Eye 2 irons. I love these. |

I am a 2 handicap that was looking for a lower ball flight and workability. These clubs fit the bill perfectly. Had them bent 2 degrees flat to fit my one plane swing. Absolutely love them. Got the 3-PW on Ebay for only $70. I feel technology has not changed enough to pay the premium price for new irons. Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: Golfsmith tour blades. |

I had read all of these reviews about how these were for low handicappers. That's not me however, I did play tons of baseball and had some very bad habits with my swing. I switched from my cobra II's over to these clubs and have hit my first round in the eighties after only 30 minutes on the driving range. They are crisp, clean, and straight as an arrow. They smoked my cobra's! I even started to draw my ball a little. The kicker is I got them on the net for 80 dollars! Customer Service don't plan on needing them Similar Products Used: cobra II, callaway fusions, ping i3's |

Last week, I took my 9-iron out, fearing I couldn't find the right tool for the job. It turned out perfectly. I had a picture window I needed smashed. I reared back and threw the club. Like a helicopter, it whirled around and effectively demolished the window.

I have had these irons for 7 years. They are for strong players with good swing fundamentals; no forgiveness. They feel like blades.

Best irons around. I've tried out some of the new muscles by mizuno and titleist and nothing measures up to the 990s. These irons have the best feel around, though they are a little hard to hit for the higher handicaps. I'm a 9 and I absolutely love these clubs. Similar Products Used: mizuno mp60 |
