Really nice clubs. Coming from big, oversized, hugely offsetted monsters, these clubs look very good at address.
These clubs will work for anyone who has a nice tempo to their swing. Mine are reg. steel 3-PW+AW+SW. The clubs have a very nice feel, and do go a long way! The 981sl's are a little stronger lofted than their 981 counterparts, which could explain their distance. Overall, a good set of irons that performs well and are sweet when struck purely, and are slightly more than mildly forgiving. Another quality Titleist product.

I am hitting the 981 sl's,

they are sweet. I love them. I hit a sweet draw, and they added like 15 yards onto the distance. I was hitting some junkers. THen i bought those bad boys and i could spank it. They are very very good off the tee and sweet off the fairway. They are good in the rough too. I would recommend them to anybody.

I never thought that irons can make such a difference. i was about a 10 handicap when i got these irons and my game suddenly improved i went from hitting a slight fade to a nice little draw. The distance also improved greatly. I eaisly gained another 15 to 20 yards with each iron. These really are great clubs that are easy to hit long and straight. I am now a 6 handicap and it is all because of the 981's.
