This club really depends on your shot pattern. In my experience, these are the highese trajectory clubs on the market. If you are looking for added height, this is your club, but the low draw players may have a tough time keeping that draw as I saw a tendency for a high, ver slight fade trajectory.

I have been playing these for a year now and would not change a thing. I tried everything except for Callaway and Ping prior to buying these. I was convinced Taylor Made was for me until I hit the 981s. You could say it was love at first hit...Incredible feel when hit flush, workable, great control and easy to hit even for a high handicapper. Definitely these are game improvement clubs. You won't find them discounted anywhere but they are well worth the retail price.

These are the best irons i have ever hit. No gimmicks, just a solid club. The irons set up to the ball very well and the shots fly high and straight. This is the best blend of workability and forgivness I have ever hit.

I think that these clubs are great. I had Lynx Black Cats and changed to the 962s and I'm hitting these farther than the Black Cats. I use to hit an 8-iron 150, now with the 962s, my 8 goes about 160. It's great. The irons are great, they have a good feel to them. Very straight and long.

Rather a dull feeling when hit well. However, there is enough feedback to let you know whether you nailed it or not. Distance is good. Forgiveness is very good considering the head size. Pretty much straight as an arrow with mid to high ball flight. It is possible to work the ball but only marginally. I was looking for a club that was a little more forgiving than the 962s but still possess a similar feel and consistency. These fit the bill perfectly for me.

I've tried these clubs several times at courses and ranges and I've been pretty satisfied. It gives a nice boring trajectory. However, there is a lack of feel, but it is not severe problem. It is a nice feel on a flush shot but not as nice as other clubs I've used. Basically everything is satisfactory. The distance is good, and accuracy is superb, overall excellent clubs.

These clubs are great. Very soft feel. Easy to get in the air. Very straight almost every time. Best clubs I've hit in my life. If you are looking for new irons I suggest that you try these. They are fantastic. Long and straight is a deadly combination. These clubs have it all. They dont cost $900 dollars like it says above. I got mine new for $500.

The first time I tried these clubs, I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed. However, after using these clubs consistently for almost two months I have to say that I am quite happy. The ball consistently takes an eerily straight trek through the air and even shots that are slightly mis-hit will still generate exceptional results. My average scores are from the mid-80s to low-90s and I would have to say that mid- to high-90s golfers would not be as happy as I am. Overall, a good club that is also more forgiving than the 962 model.

These clubs were terrible, I lost about 10 yards, and they are very inconsistant. I definetly would not recommend these clubs to anyone. I got them for a good deal, but it was not worth it.
