Great clubs if you hit the sweet spot. Forgiving if you are used to forged blades but don't expect a lot of help for off-center hits. For anyone with a handicap over 10 I would recommend the DCI Black + Oversize. Similar Products Used: None |

These clubs have a buttery feel to them...somewhat unexpected for a cast investment club. Very workable, slightly longer than average. Not very forgiving, though, so better suited for a low- to mid-handicapper. Similar Products Used: Lynx Parallax, Ping Eye 2+, Callaway Big Bertha, Top Flite Tour Midsize |

Very solid and good-looking irons that are appropriate for mid-to-low handicappers. You need to be a reasonable ball striker to enjoy these clubs — mis-hits are harsh — but the rewards for a pured shot approach blade-like feel. My set is a little heavier than standard — D-5 — and I've never been more confident over mid and short irons. They go where you aim them. Fat shots up very short and thinned shots can run twice the intended distance (it seems that way anyhow) but there's no better all-around cavity back player's club. Customer Service Titleist has the best, most knowledgable custom club department in the industry; their turnaround time is usually faster than they'll quote you. An excellent company. I have the 962s with stiff sensicore shafts. They are the best clubs I have ever owned. I have them custom fit, and I rarely worry about my iron game. However, I would say that these aren't for you if you hit them all over the club face. Customer Service E-mail is usually returned in the same day, service is fast and friendly. These irons are the best irons ive ever played, but I wouldnt recomend them for people who dont hit clubs solidly. If you hit it off-center OUCH! It hurts, so if you want a club that will teach you to hit it in the center get these just dont expect to get them and hit them good unless you hit clubs on the sweet-spot. Very good club. Feels like a forged club, but is cast. One small problem is the clubs hit the ball a little high. Similar Products Used: None |

The 962 outplays any iron I've hit and I've hit them all from Callaway to Zevo. Great feel and distance. I was going to purchase the 981s and hit these just to see the difference - could not put them down! Similar Products Used: None |

I picked up my set of 962's used last year and have been very happy with them. As other people on the board have mentioned, they are not the most forgiving club on the market. When I got the clubs I was about a 15 handicap, and in about a year I have brought that down to single digits. While I enjoy the clubs, I am still a firm believer that nothing makes up for practice and good solid repeatable swing. I have beaten guys with $1000 clubs and been taken to school by guys playing clubs from the early 70's that looked like they had been halled out of some dumpster! My point is, that if you're a low handicapper looking for a good solid club, take a hard look at the 962's. If you're looking for a club to drop ten strokes from your score, spend some more time at the driving range, or takes some lessons!! Similar Products Used: Tommy Armour 855's Ping Eye 2 |

Have the 962 with the new Rapport Nickel Graphite shaft. Much more consistent ball flight with this shaft than with the original Trispec steel. What can you say? These are the best clubs available for the mid to low handicap golfer. They give a perfect blend of workability and forgiveness(over blades). Heres the bonus, they don't cost nearly as much as the latest Calloway gimmick club. P Similar Products Used: None |

Bought the Cobra's a couple of years ago because of the price/performance. I compared them to Titliest 962's and Mizuno Pro Forged. Found them to be similar in design and feel to the 962's, and considering I got them for $250 less I was happy. There is little or no offset to the long irons, so they don't play much easier than blades. Was able to work the ball with them like blades, and were a little more forgiving. Low center of gravity (now common in many clubs), makes them easy to hit high. Last fall, my clubs were stolen, and since I got a great deal on 962's, I went with them this time.
