When I first saw the smaller head and less offset than my Lynx I thought I may have problems but not at all. These are fantastic clubs. I have always struggled with 3-irons but not with these. Bakersfield truck brake service Weakness:

These are irons I keep coming back to, they just seem to preform well. The heads are bigger than blade type irons but not huge so you can still move them through the rough. I also appreciate their durability. Roofing Contractor Weakness:

I abhor Titleist just like I abhor all the media giants in the golf equipment industry. BUT... The AP2 has to be one of the best designs I've ever encountered, in that it completely appeals to the better player with superb forged feel and a clean setup at address, but with the forgiveness of a super game improvement iron. Yes, as a professional I recommended these to a number of customers that ranged in skill from high to low handicap because it was just that forgiving and easy to hit. Weakness:
For the negative, it's Titleist and being one of the giants isn't cool to golfers these days. Howzabout a design you put out that you don't update for 5 years, eh? Why something new every year? True, Titleist isn't as bad as Taylormade or Callaway for sure, but they also make the most expensive darn ball in golf and abuse the trust of their loyalists daily. Don't support these big names. Find your local club builder and get custom fit, hopefully with component clubs. Cheers folks Price Paid: Demo

I've used the AP2 (2 versions) for 4 years, and they are long, accurate, forgiving, quite compact at address and relatively soft. True they are not as accurate as blades. In northern Europe, playing blades would be brutal. Why punish yourself with a club that hasn't changed much in 20+ years. Sorry, I'm not into this ego, nonsense!! I would rather play consistent golf. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: AP2 (original), MP53, Ping eye 2+, Titleist 962, Cobra baffler |
