Very nice clubs. Great feel and pleasing to eye at setup. Slightly high trajectory. Not a fan of the grips.

Just received my ap1's and went straight to the course. I didn't even hit a bucket on the range. The results- shot a 78 (my personal best)I usually shoot in the low 80's. These clubs are unbelievable. The ball went right where I wanted it to go. I expected the mis hits to come up short but they still landed on the green!! These clubs are great for anyone wanting to improve their game!! Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Callaway X-22's, Ping G10's, G15's |

I brought these wonders 2 years ago, while I was up in Mackay. While I was up their at Mack Golf Club I tried out about 3 different models, with them being Cleveland gold, red tour's and the titleist ap1.

Awesome clubs. I got these on sale at the end of last year for $550 and what a deal! I had Nike Ignites before this and would shot in the low 90's, breaking 90 occasionally. These clubs lowered my game by 6-7 strokes, as I consistently shoot in the mid 80's now and broke 80 for the first time this year.
Customer Service Never used. Similar Products Used: Nike Ignite, Callaway Big Bertha |

Traded in Taylor Made RAC LT 2005, previous Hogan Apex, then Ping Eye 2 (still a great set I have at in-laws home 3,000 miles away). These are fantastic irons that give you a little extra distance and large sweet spot. Many of the single digit players at our club choose these over the AP2, which gives confidence to us higher handicappers that they're good tools and now we work on our swing! Highly recommended - get fitted too. |

Brought these to replace the TM RAC 02's. Tried the Ping G15 &I15,Callaway X22, X22 Tour and Taylormade Burner and R9. I kept coming back to these. Very forgiving, good feedback, soft feel, high long ball flight, I can't fault them! Customer Service Not used but got fitted by the Titleist Rep who was great. I was looking for a new set six months ago and narrowed my selection to the X-22, AP1 and S9. AP1 was clearly the winner in terms of looks (the clubhead itself and at address with smallest offset and narrower topline compared to the other 2), and of course the best feel upon striking the ball. Got my set with the NSPRO950 and liked the high trajectory.

This are the best irons for me. I have been playing for about 2 years now, started with an Adams ovation stater kit from dicks, then moved on to taylormade RAC OS. Coming from the 120's to 100's for certain rounds.

THIS IS FOR THE NEW 2010 AP1. I AM PRETTY FAMOUS, (LIKE ONE OTHER GUY ON THIS SITE) BUT MOSTLY SHOOT MID-HIGH 80'S,SOMETIMES LOW 80'S. I HAD THE 2009 VERSION, BUT TRADED THEM SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, AS I HIT THEM STRAIGHT, BUT EITHER TO RIGHT OR LEFT OF TARGET. MAYBE IT IS THE RE-DESIGN OR THE NOW NIPPON SHAFTS, (OR BOTH) BUT THIS NEW ONE IS JUST GREAT. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL SHOTS (IN ONLY FIVE ROUNDS) THAT LANDED WITHIN 5'-6'(FROM 105-148 YDS). SAME SOFT FEEL AND DISTANCE AS THE OLD ONES, SO IF YOU ARE HITTING OLD ONES FINE, DONT CHANGE. I JUST TURNED 60 AND HAVE ONLY PLAYED FOR FIVE YEARS, BUT HAVE TRIED/PLAYED/TRADED PROBABLY 12-14 DIFFERENT SETS OF IRONS. (I FIGURE I DONT HAVE MANY GOLF YEARS REMAINING.) MY FAVORITE IRONS FOR THIS MONTH(ALTHOUGH I AM NOT SO FAMOUS) ARE THE NEW AP1(CLOSEST TO THE PIN), MIZUNO 300 (ALSO ACCURATE, BUT GREAT FEEL), ORIGINAL CLEVELAND RED WITH 5.5 (VERY STRAIGHT), 2007 TM TP (HIT HIGH OR LOW) AND I HAVE GRAPHITE PING I-10 FOR WHEN MY ELBOWS HURT. |

Great irons. Previously played a set of forged cavity backs. Will never say the feel is as good as forged, however, if you shoot 80 and above (occasional 70's) like me the forgiveness is a must. These irons have it all...forgiveness, great feel, and are very straight. Just what the doctor ordered.
Customer Service Never had an issue with any Titliest product. Local club shop said their service is excellent. Similar Products Used: Callaway (cast), Mizuno (forged), Lynx (forged) |
