I just got these irons and I love them. Easy to work the ball from left to right and right to left. Crazy spin with 8-pw. I love how the 8-pw are pure blades but the harder to hit long and mid-irons have some cavity back because all of us aren't on the PGA tour. I would totally recommend them to anybody who shoots in the 70's or 80's. |

I played 9 holes today at my local course and it was my first time out this season. I have hit in the dome and what not but i hadnt hit anything off real turf. I shot 1 over today and the 735CM's felt great. I play golf 6 to 7 days a week. I have been golfing for the last 6 years and i now play in college. I think these are the best irons i have ever hit. They are easy to work left and right and the 8-pw spin like crazy. i dont think i am going to find a set of clubs i like better anytime soon. Playing in Illinois I know it is hard for most people to get out and play durring the winter months. I would say I only recomend these irons to someone who is willing to put in hours at either Ditkas Sports Dome or Green Gardens. All together these clubs are tops, if you shoot in the 70's or even low 80's and are looking to improve your game go get these clubs! I bought a used set of these irons on Ebay for $225. They are very nice looking with a nice thin topline. The short irons are great with a nice feeling when hit well, the longer irons arent quite as easy to hit for me and I didnt hit the 3 iron well at all. Miss hits are obvious with a sensation in your fingertips to let you know you missed the sweetspot and a loss in distance or direction. Workable - I havent seen any wicked hooks or slices from them and there is not too much spin either when hitting greens. To summarize these are for the better player, less than 12-13 handicap I would say. Customer Service Never used Similar Products Used: Titleist tour blades. Ping eye 2 +. |

735 Titleist Irons
I bought my set of 735 Titleist irons about 2 years ago and haven't thought about changing since. I love that they have a muscle back on the short irons, there is nothing like smoothing a shot and feeling that buttery sensation of forged steel and titleist clubs are known for having great feel. Then when you combine that with cavity back performance enhancer for the 7 iron on, i now feel i have a complete set of irons that should stay up with technology for quite sometime. I don't use the 3 or 4 irons as much, just because for me they're harder to hit consistently but 5 iron to PW those clubs will be a mainstay for me. thanks and happy club hunting... A couple of days ago i bought the 735 cm crome. They felt great in the store and while i was hitting in the simulater, however as soon as i took them out on the course i couldn't get over how heavy they felt. It felt like i needed to put too much strengh and energy in to my shots. I also felt that p - 8(blades) irons felt much better than the 7 - 3(cavity back). If you dont like the feel of heavy clubs i wouldn't recomend these irons. |

After reaching a ceiling with my standard loft and lie Cobra CXI's I decided I needed to get fitted finally. I tried Mizuno, Taylor Made, Ping and Titleist. It was a tough call between the Mizuno's, but I decided that the progressive set would be more beneficial for me and my swing. I wasn't really looking for a blended set originally, but when I tried the 735s I couldn't believe how much farther I was hitting compared to my standard clubs.

Titleist 735cm Chrome S300
I just had to give a second review for these irons after giving a marginal one several months ago. I have been playing a set of the chrome version for 12 rounds now (4-pw), and these are it for me. A shot hit within a quarter sized circle in the center of the face will end up on the green almost always. My handicap has gone from 3 to 1. All I can really say about these is the chrome version worked much better for me than the stainless. If you are considering these irons, I would recommend the chrome. The 4-7 do not have as good feel as the 8-pw due to the cavity in them, but provide good feedback on slight mis hits. Workability is great with the short irons. Bottom line is the chrome version is worth the extra cost. I feel these irons would work well for 8 handicap or lower players. Well i usually shoot in the low-mid 80's and then i swapped my Cleveland CG2 for the Titleist 735 with my buddy. The very first round i played with these clubs i shot a 78. That was the first time i had broken 80. I'm still shooting in the 70's with these clubs. THEY ARE GREAT!

Firstly let me tell you that in the past I have been a real equipment junky. I have had these irons for nearly two years now so they are not as shiny as they use to be and they also have a few more scratches on them now. Since I have had these a lot of new models from various manufactures have been released but let me tell you, my search is over I love these clubs more and more every time I use them. It is so easy to control the shape/trajectory and distance with these clubs not to mention the feel at impact or the confidence at address from the appearance or even down to just how god damn long these things make a golf ball go. It's just crazy. Of course I am not saying I'm never going to change my irons again, I will. but when I do it will because my 735's are broken due to playing too much with them.

If you are looking for new irons, these are them. They are perfectly designed, and are so easy to hit. Since they are so well designed, even a mis-hit will result in a great shot. You will find yourself feeling more confident going after tough pin positions, and hitting more risky shots. These irons will definetly increase any players ability to score low.
