Nice and good looking club, but its control impresses me most. Recommend to buy R300 for Asians. I've tried S300, it's too stiff and require extremely powerful swing.

These irons are the best investment on equipment for my game. The feedback, feel, look, and softnesss were pure and unbelievable. Each iron pretty much looks like a butter knife but are easier to hit than u think. I used 962B irons before this set and they are just as forgiving as a cavity back. These blades seems to give me a little more ...ummfff on the shots that have been hit on the sweet spot. The 690's playabillity was much better and easier than the 962's. Knockdowns, high draws, low draws, high fades , and the hardest shot to shape, the low cut were delivered on demand with these clubs. These are some hot clubs!!

I had always taken the view that until I shot in the low 80s, I should stick to my 981s (I'm shooting in the mid-80s). However, one look at these beauties, and I was completely smitten. I've never seen such beauty. Altho' I know that they are essentially the same as the MP33s, albeit with a higher weighting in the muscle back, I am a Titleist man. After a month of using them, I know made the right decision: with my 981s, I could successfully shape maybe 20% of my shots: with these, I'm probably up to 40-50% : crazy, I know: after all what right has a 15 handicapper got to talk about "shaping shots"?! But, those shots which don't come off are completely forgotten once I feel the sweet sensation of a pure shot. My handicap would probably reduce dramatically if I were to use an oversize, offset set of irons, but golf isn't about logic! I love everything about these clubs, and they make me want tobe worthy of them

Mmmmm.......shoots in the 100's and boughtforged blade irons I hear you murmer. Well folks, what a fantasic set of irons these are. They're beautifully made, provide tremendous feedback and the sweetspot.....oh what a sweetspot. Tried Callaway X-14 Pro Series cast cavity backs and a myriad of other irons. The 690MB's really did stand out and after 4 months my game is improving. Do not believe what you read about high handicappers having to use 'game improvement' irons.....I had a set for 2 years in he form of some Tommy Armour 855s Silver Scots and the 690's leave them for dead. They look and feel great at approach. Unfortunately I got fleeced on price here in Bangkok (paid US$1700 for 2-PW) owing to extremely limited availabilty in the region. No regrets....love 'em, enjoy them.......and so do all my friends.

Well, let me put it to you like this. I was a golfer whose best score ever was 74 with a set of Ping i3's. Then I bought a set of Mizuno MP-14 because the feel and workability was so much better. Well, then I tried a 7 iron of the 690's compare to a Mp-14 7 iron. The 690's made the MP-14's feel like a rock. So that day I sold my MP's and ordered a set of 690MB's with Dynamic Gold X Flex shafts. The Titleist folks said it would be 2 months to get them. They ended up arriving in about 2 weeks. Just in time for a tournament I was entered in. Well, I wasn'r going to play them in the tournament because I was would not be use to them. But, I couldn't resist trying them out. I went to the course and tried them, I was hitting the ball pure and controlled my distances much better. So I decided to use them in the tournament. After the first round I led by 5 strokes, shooting a 68!!!!!!! That was the first time I had ever broke par. So you tell me how these clubs perform. He He...... By the way, dont be afraid of them since they are a blade. These thing are easier for me to hit than my ping i3's and definately easier to hit than the MP-14. As a matter of fact I almost didn't get them because I was afraid of the long irons. I even asked Titleist if I could have 3-6 in 690CB and 7-P in 690MB. They said no so I ordered them anyway. I am so glad I did. Amazing feel, response, and they look great.

I bought these clubs because I had the Great Big Bertha Tungsten Ti's a few years ago and I had no feel with those clubs. I bought the 690 mbs which are the exact opposite. If you slow your swing down and hit the sweet spot the ball really flies. They are the best clubs I have ever hit and they feel so solid. I look forward to hitting each shot with these clubs
