Tiger Shark Great White Irons

Tiger Shark Great White Irons

DESCRIPTION

The 2009 Great White hybrids have a new head design that lowers the center of gravity, improving playability and allowing for better shot making. The CG has been placed in the optimal position for higher launch angles which make the clubs easier to hit and increase overall carry distance. This is the perfect hybrid for golfers with slower to medium swing speeds looking for optimal launch conditions and maximum ball velocity.

Model Reviewed: Tiger Shark Great White hybrid iron

I recently purchased a Tiger Shark Great White 25* 5 hybrid club on a bit of a lark from Golftown for $38.88 CAD. I had been looking for a club to bridge the distance between my 5 wood and my 5 iron. I had tried several different hybrids and some high lofted fairway woods, but hadn't yet found a satisfactory solution.

After one range session and a couple of rounds, I think that I've found the ideal club for my game. This hybrid has a face profile and off-set that matches quite closely to my Tour Edge irons. It sets up and hits exactly like a traditional iron rather than a wood like hybrid. The iron like face with scoop back would allow for lie angel adjustment if necessary. The club delivers a long, straight, penetrating ball flight with a smooth swing; no ballooning, just a nice slight draw. Distance can be effectively varied by cutting down on the swing giving me a useful range between 170 - 190+ yds. Shot dispersion is very tight with a consistent swing.

When you factor in the lifetime warranty with the ease of use, versatility, performance and ridiculous low price, it's hard to imagine how any golfer could go wrong with this club. At the very least, it is worthy of serious consideration for any golfer in the market for a long iron replacement or rescue club. Comes in 5 lofts from 2 iron to 6 iron replacement.
