Good for begginer to intermediate hanicappers. These hurt your hands if you blade them but that just teached me not to blade them. You can tell when u really hit one sweet but everywhere else feels softtoo, ball goes very high and good for any begginer or intermediate golfer wanting to improve.I'm planning to get some hogans or DCI 990's next because I'm moving on to be an advanced player.

These clubs feel like mush. Distance is VERY inconsistent, and they tend to push the ball right. They feel poor on mis-hits, and feel like NOTHING on good hits. Tend to top the ball (due to the fat sole, I presume). I can't live with them- look for them in an online aution soon!

I'm over 50 and had been playing with top flite tour irons with grafite shafts for two years. I wanted a little more consistency and control. I wanted to get back to steel shafts. I really like the rifle shafts. These are relatively easy to hit.I just wish the heads were heavier, but lead tape took care of that.

I use taylor made supersteel woods and like the playability and forgivness of them, although distance suffers a little. I demoed the supersteel irons and boy was I disapointed. I've used almost every iron under the sun from callaway hawk eyes to cleveland ta-5's and found almost all of them easy to hit straight and long. These irons did nothing but slice for me in the three week period I had them. I would hit 100 balls maybe 15 of them went straight the rest were 20-25 yards right. They were horrible; the heels are to big giving the head a very heavy feel. I also had a problem with addressing these clubs due to the thick heel. I would not recomened these to anyone; way to inconsistent try clevelands, callaways, cobras and maxfli's not TM irons. Even my friends tried them out and none of them liked them.

I am a high schooler and on the golf team. My old set wasn't quite cutting it. I needed a good set that would get me through my four years and then some. When I tried this set I was in love immediately. I could hit any spot on the course. Rescently my scores have been droping. These clubs have a very forgiving clubface, and they come off with lazer-like accuracy. I just rescently begun hitting my driver consistantly, and it goes a ton. Personally, i wouldn't trade them for the world.

Very powerfull but but HAS NO FEEDBACK. At impact feels dull!! Good price but if you are a golfer from high 80s to low 80s it is not a good enough feel. Very forgiving though not good through rough and even when you hit a good shot you don't know it. You do not have that great feeling of a forged club when hit well. If you want a greAT club nomatter what level, go with the apex, apex plus apex edge just because they are forged doesn't mean they aren;t forgiving.

I posted in January when my Supersteels were new--I loved them right off the rack. After a couple dozen rounds, they're causing domestic problems--my wife says they sleep with the feet, I say they sleep with the heads. I've learned some things about them that may help folks: these clubs want to smack the ball. I experiment all the time. My 4/5ths control swing was starting to disappoint--no bombs, wobbly accuracy--so I recently went back to my superstrong grip, steep swing, and freewheeling wallop. Perfect! My 7 is back up to 160, my 3 shocks me with 220--I'm relearning my distances. And I'm straighter than ever. Find the balance, trust the club, and cut loose. Supersteel seems to work better at high velocity. People note that the feedback isn't great. Me too, until I went back to full strength. Now I feel the Callaway red crush, I know my line right off the tee, and I love the report up the shaft. A hard hitter has to love these clubs. I mostly pick with a little divot that regrettably rarely gets in front of the ball. These clubs say "don't worry, we'll take care of it."
I blush to show excessive enthusiasm, but even the PW has really grown on me--versatile from full to flop.

These irons are great. The first thing that i really noticed and liked was the weight of the club, it was perfect. Also the sweetspot isnt on the heel of the face its more towards the toe where i hit it more often. The grips are great too.Long and short irons work well for me.These irons are a great deal for $400 and are highly recomended.

I have to say that Taylor Made has a winner in these clubs! Before i got fitted i was shooting in the upper 100's. I have dropped to the low 90's consistently within 3 months of getting my Super Steels. 7 iron is about 165 to 170 which is 2 clubs more than my old set. Very forgiving clubs and mistakes are still playable. Excellent clubs, highly recommend.

After using Tommy Armour 845's for the last year with inconsistency, I tried the TM SS irons. These are the best iron's I have every used. No more fade to the left and about 10 yards further than the 845's. If you have trouble with control try these irons out. They did wonders for my game.
