Great set of irons. They have a great fell when you strike the ball good. I hit the ball 10-15 yards farther than my other set of irons. And a whole lot straighter. I would recommend to any one.

Demo'd these from a local shop. Pluses: They get the ball in the air high (really high) and are easy to swing.
Minuses: They are not very accurate and good shots sound and feel the same as bad ones. Great confidence builders for high and mid-handicappers.

These club are very good for me and for the price a very good deal...I chose the rifle shaft and I really appreciate the feeling when you hit the ball correctly. I played my first round with them and my score was 82...

I use to swing a set of Tommy Armour Ti/100s with oversized heads. These new Supersteels are by far better than the Ti/100. I hit the ball straighter and longer. Very nice grips.

Best irons I have ever hit. I'm 56 years old, 5'8" 176 pounds and was hitting my eight iron 160 yards. This was 10 to 20 yards farther and straighter then my old clubs. Last round hit 17 of 18 greens in regulation...Shot 71 best round in years. Everyone should try them....The price is right..compare to others...you will not believe the distance you get.... Good Luck

These irons are the best. Superior feel, great distance, and superb accuracy. The new rifle shafts are great. Also, TM puts on the best grips. Great price too.

I have been using the old burner iron for the past 3 years. It is great. Today on the driving range with the Taylor Made demo day. Just picked up the new Super Steel Iron and tried it out. It has the same balance as the old burner but with a much softer touch on impact. It give me the same distance as the old club with less swing power. I think it is a good first time club for the beginner. I don't think I need to change it yet.

These are great irons. They are 2 clubs longer than my last set. First time I used them I went perfectly straight and over the green 3 times on par threes. Now I'm used to the distance and I am actually hitting straight shots now. They are very forgiving. I Love them!!

I have to say I was pretty impressed with this set of irons. I have been playing weekend golf for about 2 years with a cheap set that started to break on me, oh well, I was thinking what would be a good choice. I thought about going cheaper for a set of Tommy Armour 845 but they are rare to find since they are outdated model but I like the Tommy Armour. I had a few choices of entry level iron with Mizuno T-zoid, Cleverland TA5 and Maxfli. However, after trying out the Taylor Made Supersteel, there was no going back despite the higher price tag. I think my game immediately saw improvement in more consistent iron shot. The club gives me a very good feedback how well I hit the ball and I swear on some really dead on shot, I was hitting 200 yds on the 3 irons which isn't bad for a weekend golfer like I am. I think the irons are great price, good shaft and good quality, highly recommend those who seek something intermediate as I see these irons lasting me a good number of years.
