These Irons r realy good they r realy easy to shape and control the power of shots. Got them from golf bidder only 190 pounds(if u live in Europe)hitting 5 to 10 yrds futher than my skymax ice urrrrrr irons.long iorns in my opinion have to thin a topline and hard to get up so i say get some sort of hybrid instead. Also sandwedge dosen't get much backspin on greens so i got a diffrent wedge also. All in all long and consistant forgiving but not the most ive tried(best for good ball strkers) Distance:3=180 4=170 5=160 6=150 7=145 8=130 9=120 pw=105 sw=80

Finally decided to spend some $ on some quality clubs. Decided on these over some other Callaways and over the Big Bertha 04s. I can't be happier. My shots are more than 15 yards longer than before and the irons are very forgiving. I WILL be shooting in the 80s regularly with these irons by the end of the summer. About my only complaint, I keep overshooting the greens! :+ |

Great overall clubs, easy to hit and are forgiving. This is my first set of "Good Clubs" I always bought the $200 sets from a box before. I can really tell the difference in a good club my shots are longer and staighter that before and i have a lot more control. All in all i think the Taylor Made RAC OS are great clubs for an mid level golfer. |

This review focuses mostly on the horrid factory graphite shafts.
Customer Service TM and Dick's Sporting Goods played the OEM-retailer tag-team game to the hilt. Neither one would make any sort of accomodation regarding these clubs that simply did not perform. I even went to a clubmaker who had a frequency machine and demonstrated to TM/DSG that the shafts were not as advertised and in fact vibrated in the senior flex range. To date I have avoided doing business with both companies. Similar Products Used: Callaway X-16, Callaway X-18, Mizuno MX-20, Ping i5 |

These irons are forgiving but still very workable.Normal swings produce high ball flight throughout the set.But ball can still be worked low, high, left or right.I am playing these with 90 gram reg stock shaft which could be contributing to the high ball flight, but shot dispersion is still fairly tight. Is this stock shaft a dynamicgold sl? If anyone knows please respond.Overall agood club for the skilled player as well as higher handicap players. Customer Service awesome with drivers Similar Products Used: pingeye 2

I bought these clubs right before the 2005 season and I like them a lot. They are very forgiving and very easy to hit. I always get solid contact and they seem to be ten to fifteen yards longer then my old set. They are also very forgiving and I would say I cut out two to three bad shots a round with these clubs. They took a few rounds to get used to but now I would not give them up. I am very happy I got them and would recommend them to anyone. |

First thing I must say is that these irons play very long. So if your're looking for added length, these would work well for you. Compared to the old Big Bertha irons (1996 model) I had been playing, I'm getting almost 20 yards more on each club. Also, they are quite forgiving on toe hits, which is a bad habit I sometimes get into. Shots will maybe be barely short and right of the target instead of way right and well short. One problem I'm ahving is pulling some shots due to the offset. Overall, an excellent set and a great value. I picked them up at a Dick's Sporting Goods store recently for $399. |

I was changing from blades to cavity back irons as I do not get the chance to play as much golf as I used to. After hitting every iron I could get my hands on I went with RAC OS. These clubs are long and forgiving. I am not as accurate with them as I was with my old blades but hey I can let them sit in the trunk for a month pull them out and shoot an 83 with no effort. The ball always gets up and goes straight. They hit long and no miss hits.
Customer Service FYI: you better own a GAP wedge or buy the A wedge with your set because the PW is 45* and a typical SW is 56*

I recently bought the Taylormade OS’, I had trouble at first getting used to the LONG DISTANCE and the bigger offset. But once I got in a couple round, I was sold. The feel when you hit these clubs is great, and hitting a 5 iron 165 yard just makes it even sweeter. I hit my old Ping G5 5 iron only 140 yards, and distance is the thing that struggles most in my game; so these made a huge difference. If your looking for distance and forgiveness, go with these.
