I have owned many sets of irons in my golf years, pings, wilsons, callaway x-18's and I never have gotten the performance that I wanted out of my irons. Pings were accurate but no height, x-18's were high and accurate but distance suffers. I was worried when I first bought these, As a single digit handicapper, I was concerned that my swing speed was too fast for this set (112) driver. But I would say to anyone looking to buy golfclubs, unless you are on the tour, these are about the best clubs you can own, trust me. |

I have only been seriously golfing for 2 years, and this is my first set of irons (got a great deal on E-bay). I am playing a set with stiff graphite shafts. These irons are great. They get the ball right up and are very straight. Don't be afraid of the "HT", the high trajectory does not cut back any distance it just helps get the ball in the air. The only thing I can say that I don't like about the clubs are the grips, but from what I have read I guess that is the case with all or most stock TM grips. Customer Service Never used. |

Although it is difficult for me to comment on the Taylor Made RAC HT's, as I have just purchased them from 'online golf'. I am just posting a note on here to thank all the people who wrote their reviews! They helped me decide that the Taylor Made RAC HT where my next set of irons!! I will recieve them at the weekend & will leave a proper evaluation after I have visited the driving range. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Wilson Fat Shafts |

I've been playing golf again regular for the past year and a half. I started back with a set of Taylormade 200 steel irons with r flex steel shafts. They were much better irons than the old Ping copies I sold, but I needed something more forgiving.
Customer Service Taylormade's customer service has always been good. I have not need to call them about this set, but they have helped me with headcovers and number tags in the past. Similar Products Used: Owned Taylormade 200 steel, demoed TM RAC OS |

Fantastic! I just purchased these clubs and tried them on my course for the first time. The clubs gave excellent feel and the shots remained straight and landed softly. Not only that but the distance was great. On a 145 yard par 3 I was used to using a 7 iron, I used a 9 iron and shot to the back of the green!! I can't wait to get back out on the course and try to lower my handicap. |

This is a super sweet set of irons. The feel is outstanding, the forgiveness likewise, the ease of making solid contact is as good as anything I have ever hit, the accuracy is great, the trajectory is just a bit higher than a standard stick, certainly no ballooning... big sole greatly reduces fat shots, slightly off center shots are still darn good. I still don't understand, now that I have managed to get into the 70's pretty consistently why people like to play an iron that is inherently slightly unstable (like a small blade or other "players" sticks).... where you just HAVE to hit it dead center every time or are severly penalized... sure, if you get to be less than a 5 hdcp, maybe the blades would add slight element of extra workability and/or accuracy. But if you are not there yet, this is a great set to consider. Easy is good. Straight is good. Greens in reg are good. Plus, in my opinion, these sticks look great. These clubs are extremely easy to get in the air and have a very nice feel to them when you make average or better contact with the ball. They have a very wide sole and look very thick at address. Even though you can not see the cavity at address, it is very nice looking and the club overall looks very nice. I noticed that the club is very forgiving and even off target shots have a way of coming out alright. The distance is just as good if not better than the average cavity back. The added weights in the cavity of the club make it very easy to get the ball up in the air. Even for a high hitter like myself, these clubs work out awesome. Very good buy if you can find them for less than 375$. In my opinion, much easier to hit than the RAC OS, LT, or MB. For a golfer who shoots mid 80's like myself, i had no problem sweet stroking a lot of my shots with these clubs. Even the low irons hit well compared to other sets. These clubs are also very light feeling [when compared to my friends TA2's and CPR's.] Customer Service None Needed.
