Great set...added distance instanly....corrects slice but beware of hooking the clubs....good bite on approaches...very difficult to cut/fade but will provide a straighter shot or draw...do not miss the titleist irons i was using....great price and got the results i wanted

Unbelievable. I got the R7s as a gift from my wife and honestly did not have high expectations. I don't beleive in having to buy equipment to correct a flawed swing. Just tried them today and I can tell you these are the best clubs I have ever played with. The balance is great increasing swing speed w/o much effort. The accuracy of the shots increased dramatically and I gained at least 8 yds distance. Really easy to hit. These beat Callaway X20s by a mile. Great value also!

Got these about 2 months ago, and its probably one of the best investments i have made. I got em brand new at a local golfsmith for $300. These clubs are pretty good clubs, definately not the best and not something i would recomend to someone shooting in the 70s, but these are probably the best for begginers and are very good for people that shoot in the 80s. I tried many upon many different irons and these were the best for someone like me who at times has a Mean Slice

Awsome clubs. I just picked the game back up and bought these for my return and have found them really easy to play. I expected to chase the ball all over the course but every shot was long and stright. Only problem I had was over shooting the greens due to picking the wrong club.

I just purchased these to replace my old TM burner super-steel set and what a difference! My approach (from 150 yds. or so) used to be the weak part of my game but I see that going away! I only played 9 to give these a try but they are DEADLY in the 5,6,7 range. I hit both greens on par-3's between 150/160 yards. (one was a birdie!) On the down-side, they are bulky compared to my burners and I will keep my old sand-wedge and Nike 54 degree pitching wedge because the sole of the r7's doesn't bite as well, but overall, I am extremely happy with the r7's!

These clubs are really suited for high to mid handicappers who have a tendancy to slice ir fade. If you are a low handicapper who is used to blades, these are not for you!

My previous set was an Adams Golf Ovation 3, which worked well for me in the Summer of 2008. I decided to get the TM R7 draw since I typically slice or fade 30% of my iron shots.

If you set up correctly it is really hard to slice or fade with the TM R7 draw irons (although, you CAN intentionally fade by setting up with open face).

With these irons most of my shots go high and DEAD straight, and very easy to drop onto the green. Unintentional fades go no more than 10 degrees right to target. Furthermore, there is a 10 yard distance improvement with the 4, 5 and 6 irons.

I was using a Perfect Club 347 hybrid/rescue since I could not hit a 4 iron well. With this set, for the first time in my life I am able to hit the 4 iron well and straighter. The Perfect Club rescue is out of my bag now.

The other thing I love about the TM R7 draw irons is the balance and slightly faster swing speed that they encourage. I feel it is easy to "swing", rather than "hit", them.

Not a bad club. Bought them and had the lie angle adjusted to my height (stock was too upright). I coincidentally had my Titleist 695mb's adjusted at the same time...the guy who did it kicked up the specs for each club and showed me how Taylor Made has put less loft and longer shafts in each club...producing longer distance (nothing magical).

Honestly, these clubs are decent...not great, definitely not better than my Titleist's, but I am happy to play with them on occasion.

And oh..by the way....they DON'T produce a draw...the adjusted weighting to the heel is so insignificant it all comes down to your "swing" closing the club face at impact, not moving the weight to the heel producing a draw (so work on your swing path or adjusting the club in your grip).

Nice look...solid club.

I bought these clubs after reading many reviews, but i must say they are the worst clubs i have ever tried. The heads are huge at address which put me off straight away.Every shot i hit went far left, they completely ruined my swing in half a round.I lost 3 balls in 6 holes..I have gone back to using my king cobra 2008 FP irons, which are amazing in every way. They hit long ,straight and they look awesome at address and in the bag,if your looking for great irons,go cobra you wont regret it..

Just bought these clubs, after reading MANY reviews. I can't say enough about them. I am a club junkie, having had up to six sets at one time. I'm down to three now and, if things work out the way they look, I'll have only one set after this season. Love the control I have with the Hogan Apex Edge (heavy) and the distance I get with the MacGregors; the TM r7 draw seem to give me both, the distance I need as well as the control.
