TaylorMade 320 Irons

TaylorMade 320 Irons

DESCRIPTION

From TaylorMade: "The 320 Iron comes with a moderate topline and slight offset - carrying a traditional, yet confident look at address. Each club is optimized for its intended shot: the long irons have a lower center of gravity and negative bounce to help create lift, while the short irons have a higher center of gravity and positive bounce to reduce drag and prevent shots from floating or ballooning."

These irons are fantastic. I never thought I would find a set of irons better than my Ping I3's. They are truly in their own class. The rifle shafts are matched perfectly with the 320 head. The feel at impact is very close to a forged club hit in the sweet spot. These irons make it easy to work the ball with great results. I have never been a Taylor Made fan before but these irons as well as the 320 driver have changed my mind. The irons are at least a club longer than Ping I3's with a great trajectory due to the rifle shats. If you are shopping for irons, try these last so you can appreciate how good they are.

These are long and forgiving, with excellent feel. The Rifle shafts are probably the biggest influence on the way these irons play, very similar to Callaway x-14 pro series, but $150 cheaper! My previous irons were Cobra II tour, which I played for 3 years - I am amazed how much better the Taylor Made irons are in every respect.

Callaway x-14 pro series; as good as 320 but more expensive.

Ping Blade and O-size; did not like either of these, ugly, not very forgiving, and too much offset on O-size

Tried out several different sets of clubs and it was between these and X-14's, but these seem to give more feel and consistency. I had them ordered 1 inch over 2 deg. up with oversize grips and S90 Rifle shafts. Have now play several rounds with them and have gained a club in distance over my old set. They look and feel great and give you confidence when yoo hit them. Not bad on mishits, but great when hit the sweet spot. I would highly reccomend taking these out for a demo.

VERY solid choice---tried many differnt irons in price range---these fit me best and have paid off on the course---up to my 5th or 6th round---getting a better feel all the time---when struck pure they are magnificent---when struck a little off they still send the ball on course---distance seems excellent and control the best of any cavity back irons I have used or demo'd.

An excellent choice for anyone---the Rifle shaft is great---easy to hit---and the weight of the club seems perfect in the hands. TM got a lot of things right with these.

I tried many other club for a few months with a pro before choosing the right set for me. The taylor made were much more precise and workable than the callaway X14 - ping i3 - cleveland - etc.
The 320 are very workable because of the blade shape and also forgiving because of the cavity back. For once the marketing hype lives up to the expectation. They are just awesome real pro golf clubs.
Just one word of advice: never buy a set of good golf club on the web because it is silly to spend more than 200$ on a set of golf club if there not tuned for your game by a professional. So do it well with a pro and pay for it or just buy low quality club and save money. Anything else do not make any sense.

this club is ridiculous. i never dreamed that there would ever be a driver made of this caliber. i hit the ball long and with a straightness that i have never seen before in any driver. it's revolutionary. im thinking about buying some new irons. if any are as revoultionary as this driver, pls someone tell me, because im really interested in improving my game overall, not just with the driver. ive hit the callaway and the ping and the other big name drivers and they may be good but they're not game changing like this one. and im seriously doubting if theyre are any irons that could be as game changing as this driver.ive been looking at the ping i3 and the calloway on those. someone help me out here

Just got rid of my Mizuno MP 14's for these clubs. They have the feel of a blade with the forgiveness of a cast cavity back. The clubs are 10 yards longer through the set from my previous clubs. The long irons are absolutely pure.

TM has done a wonderful job on these, they feel great and are long. The R-80 rifle shafts feel absolutly great.Would not trade them for anything!! Bought the Sandwedge---55 degree w/10 degree bounce nice off of the fairway.

These are wonderful irons. I honestly think I would never see the distance I do with these, also very forgiving. I had troubles with them at first, but probably due to the fact that I had to get use to them. Friend hit with them at the driving range, and he also think there great too. Got it from ebay, new and great value. Saved almost $400 Can.
