Srixon Z-TX Forged Irons

Srixon Z-TX Forged Irons

DESCRIPTION

The Z-TX irons stepped sole design allows the longer blade length to play like a shorter blade, while also making the irons more versatile in tough turf conditions. The Z-TX irons variable face design has expanded their sweetspot by 20% making them not only one of the longest irons on the market, but also one of the most forgiving.

Cavity backed, Japanese forged irons. Gorgeous. The bounce is stepped, I notice nothing that this does either way, but it looks cool. It seems the ball sets up really well behind the club. The feel is top notch. If you hit the sweet spot, very soft. Pleasant. Toe hits are not terribly punished in distance or direction (not as much as previous clubs)or feel. Alignment is easy, very nice top line. They are a little longer than my Mizunos or other blades I play. Easy to work. Long irons seem to be easy to hit. I have them as my regular sticks now used about 6 months.
