Srixon I 506
Purchased from a local pro shop two-and-a-half years ago brand new, never used, 3 iron through PW, standard lofts and lie as I'm 5'8" and have played of with muscle backs and blades off the rack my entire golfing life of about 59 years since the early '60s. This is the straightest club I have ever played and I have played with a lot, including those so-called "game improvement" clubs. Really, the only game improvement anyone needs is to learn the correct fundamentals and proper swing and work at it. I love the traditional look of the 506: the thin top line; flat, wider sole; very little offset; most of all, with the 3 and 4 irons you minimally see the back of the club when addressing the ball, which to me can be a huge distraction. Eye appeal is everything to me and this club has it all, including ball flight. I can't wait to try the new Z 745s when they hit the market in my area. Customer Service I had damaged my 6 iron with some scoring on the sole after a shot. I contacted Cleveland/Srixon customer service via email about a replacement head. A couple of days letter a get a response from a rep that unfortunately the club was and is out of production, but he provided me with an address where I could have the club repaired or refinished, so I was pleased with the quick response. srixon pro 100 irons
Making a return to golf after 25 years and wanted a quality set of forged irons, without the top end price tag. Bought these little beauties on e bay, second hand, for $250AUD. Needed to spend time at the range getting back into the groove, but these clubs are just fantastic. Distance and accuracy are quite extraordinary and the feel is complimented with that 'muscle' that only comes with forged irons. |

SRIXON I-506 ~ Rifle Project X 5.5
Found a used set (5-PW)cheap and thought I might use them as a back up set. I've been playing Hogan Apex blades for 3 years and wasn't really looking for a change. The I506's are larger clubheads than the Hogans, but their simple and tradtional appearance at address is pleasing. It only took a few rounds to dial in the new distances for each club(gained 5-7 yds). I added a 50* gap wedge in order to cover the yardage gap between my PW and SW.
Customer Service Contacted SRIXON on line customer service concerning a shaft issue and the getting a matching 4 iron. They were responsive but unfortunately I have to go through a dealer to get warranty or custom work done. A little inconvenient since very few Srixon dealers carry anything other than Srixon balls. I have yet to locate a Srixon equipment dealer. I've solved my issues without using a Srixon dealer. Hopefully with their recent acquistion with Cleveland more dealers will carry Srixon clubs. I've used these for a year now and I'd put them right up there with Mizuno and Miura. I really appreciate how I can work the ball whether it be a fade, draw. The trajectory is exceptional. You definitely know when you've jucked one. Try them you'll like em. Customer Service I purchased these with the advice of our club pro. He fitted me and I'm very pleased. I tried the 506 2 years ago at a demo day. It came down to the 506 or Ping S 58 out of all the irons I tried. I'm happy to say I got a set of Srixon 506. They are extremely consistent and have the feel of a true forged club. Customer Service Great at 3 baals .com Similar Products Used: Most of the lh forged clubs available |
