snake eyes irons 675c
purchased a set of 675c forged irons5-9 with wedges being 675 tm and 3-4 irons being 675xc the more forgiving. i replaced a set of cleveland ta-7 which were a nice set and i was happy with them but just felt like a change. no opther reason. i have found these to be solid when hit out of the centre but not as long as the clevelands if not hit out of the centre. all in all a very nice iron because you are supposed to hit them pure and when you do they really fly. i find i use the f word more often now as you have to assume everyone is going to be pure and the ones not so pure cause me to get a lot of bunker practice. the flange on the 675tm sand iron doesnt work for me but the same flange on the 52 deg is perfect so my technique is not right for that sand wedge played open. i have a previous snake eyes sand wedge that does not have the wide flange on the bottom which i am now going back to. all in all a good purchase and i am not out too many bucks if i decide a change is in order somewhere down the track, |
