First time I bought these irons in 1978 I brought my scores down to the 70's from the high eighties within a year. Held on to them until 2000 when I went for high end clubs made by Titleist. Kept them until a friend new to golf needed clubs and I gave them away. Last year I decided to look for them for sale on ebay and got lucky. Found a set of irons just what I had except 2 to PW instead of 3 to SW. They were still in mint condition. The grips were replaced and now I am so happy to play them again. My goal is to play low nineties and move down to the eighties if I can. Customer Service Not applicable Similar Products Used: Wilson Staff, Titleist |

I believe I purchased these clubs late 60's or early 70'. Whenevr they came on the market. I still play with some times. I have purchased many sets since, but they are still the best club I have hit. They have stiff flex shafts is the only reason I don't use them all the time (72 yrs old). I shot my best rd (74) Angel Park)10 yrs ago. I still think its one of best clubs ever made. Still have the woods also. Hope people read this. Thanks Similar Products Used: First Flight Pro set,Tommy Armour 855s,845s,Macgregor 1957 model,Ping Eye2 Blk Dot,Wilson Deep Red,Callaway, |

I had a set of these in the 80s and early 90s. I loved them, but as my game got better I decided that I needed more pro type clubs. Since then I have had assorted Pings, Callaways, Titleist and Taylor Made Irons. I just bought a set of Accubars on E-Bay and the first two times out I shot 77 and 76. I was told when I sold my first set in 1994 that I was selling one of the best iron heads ever made. Combined with the proper shaft, these are some great clubs. Customer Service Not tried |

I got these a couple of months after I started playing. Got them on sale for $75. I saw my scores go down from 100s to low 80s the 2 years that I played with these. They were very accurate and not very forgiving. I like the look because even thou it is a cavity back, it has a very thin topline and sets up easy. This is my back up set now as I got an Adams Idea Pro, which gives me at least 1 more club distance, but I am still scoring the same as Golf is more about accuracy and not disatnce (not at the courses I play anyway :) Customer Service not tried Similar Products Used: Adams Idea Pro, Callaway Big Bertha 2006, SnakeEyes 600XC |
