A beautiful set of clubs but I didn't feel the performance was there. Not as forgiving as my game needed and not as long as my Mizuno Comp EZ's. Even with improvements, I think these need to have an operator with a 10 or better handicap. A players club. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Mizuno Comp EZ |

Precept CB forged irons
What a great set of irons! I played the Mizuno Pro II's last year, but found that if I'm having a bad day, there is no forgiveness in those blades. Was originally looking at the Nike Pro Combo and also the MP-30's. Really enjoyed the 30's, but wanted even more room for the 3I and 4I. Looked also at mixing a set of MP-30's with MX-20's. But the Precept set has such a nice transition through the set that the feel and forgiveness will surprise you. They do not have as much feel as the MP-30's, but boy are they more forgiving on mis hits! I got the chance to try them side by side today at the range and reinforced my decision on the Precents. The tungsten weight in the 5-3I really gets the ball up - i mean really up. A nice easy swing is the real key with these - The lower irons will still work the ball, but you do trade a bit t the Nikes and Mizunos. But if you're a mid handicapper looking to break 80 - these are your ticket! They also chip nicely around the green and the topline sets up the nicest of both clubs aforementioned. The r400 shafts feel nice and stable - I found the Nike Speed step shaft too light. Not to mention that they are a fraction (like 50% or less) the price of either the Nikes or Miz - go for 'em. Great set! Huge value - First review I've ever written - thanks to the folks before who took the time to post. Customer Service Golf Gallery is a small trade-ins welcome shop in Toronto. I traded in my Mizuno proII's plus 2 Taylor Made SUper Steel woods and got the PRecept Irons NEW and new Cleveland LAuncher Fairway woods (3 wood and 5wood) for $800 Canadian - that's $550 for th ewoods and irons NEW. Plus the guy fits, repairs, and trades later. FInd em in T.O. Similar Products Used: Mizuno MX-20, MP-30, Pro-II, Nike Pro-Combo, |

Precept CBs
If you're a bogey-or-better golfer, now's the time to make the switch from cast to the new breed of game improvement forged. Feel and feedback is so much better, particularly with the chipping clubs. Think scalpel instead of axe. Of these, Mizuno MX-20 is good but Precept CBs are the very best. Precept has engineered a blend of progressive cavity back and tungsten weighting in the longer clubs that makes these irons absolutely seemless in performance. I am a confessed club junie. I've owned just about every offering from Cleveland, Ping and Calloway in the past 15 years. These are by far the best irons I've ever hit. And, oh yeah, this is the very first review I've ever been compelled to write. Similar Products Used: Mizuno MX20 |

These irons are sooo nice. The longer irons are easier to hit because of the cavity backs and the shorter ones feel like butter because of the muscle backs. The 3 4 and 5 and cavity and the rest are muscle backed with a little cavity. There is only a little offset so working the ball is very easy and the forged feel of them give you excellent feedback. I also tried the Nike Pro Combos and the faces on these are a little bigger (bigger sweet spot) but they hit much the same. I've gained about 5 yard as well and have a lot more control. They also look gorgous in my bag. Go for them! Similar Products Used: Nike Pro Combo, Nike Blades, Cleveland FF TA3 |

Nearly new clubs, S400 Dyna-lite shafts, great looking and feeling clubs. Solid shots, from all lies, mis hits still straight w/obvious slight loss of distance. I never hit my low irons this well before, the CB and weighting are great. Look at the NEW Nike's and read about them. Nike's ad could be an ad for these clubs minus about 500 dollars of course. Very under rated club by those looking for just a Callaway, Nike etc name. I hit Hogan Pro's, Cobra Forged, Mizuno Forged and NONE felt any better than these. + I got 52*, 56* and 60* Premium Wedges in deal. Customer Service great club policies with buying confidence Similar Products Used: Acer XDS-2, Callaway X-14's, Pings, Cobra's |

Best irons I have hit. Look great. Offer good forgiveness. Are workable. Do not sacrifice distance. Very accurate. These may be the best kept secret out there, as I have seen them going on Ebay for less than $400. If you are a low to mid handicap player considering a move to forged irons, try them and you will not be dissappointed. The gap wedge is also solid. I have played with the Nicklaus Air Bear Tour irons and more recently with my old set of Ram Laser FX Forged irons. I went and tried almost every forged club and the Titleist DCI 762s before deciding to purchase the Precept CBs. I only tried the 5 iron against the Armour 845 V25s, Mizuno Pro II and Precept Tour Premium. Well, the Tour Premium CBs are the best for the 10 handicapper who want the forged feel but some forgiveness. They look great, the top line is not too big and the cavity back provides a lot of forgiveness for a forged club. I got good ball height with these and hit them very straight due to the slight offset. I tried the Precept Tour Premiums but could not hit them as consistently as these or the Armours. I hope the 7-9 irons feel as well as the Armour V25s. My only complaint is the grips are nothing special and these clubs are hard to find at the local stores. I have taken a whopping 25 strokes off my game by using these irons. I went from a 170 to a 145 in 2 months of using these irons. I am almost ready to go on tour! :0) |

Purchased 4I through 60 deg lob with Dynalite Gold R300 and after 3 rounds they are great. Standard lofts throughout the set allow for easy club selection for yardage, no gimmicks with 6 iron lofts branded as 7 irons and so on, and ball trajectory is solid and very true. Truly aimed at the 6 to 16 handicapper range and one of the best irons I have hit and the best looking by far. Clubs you would want to keep for a long time, and will grow with you. Customer Service Local agent was hopeless and not worth a pinch of you know what. Golf Mart were great.
