I bought the irons and was somewhat concerned about the oversized heads. I've always liked the traditional looking irons like Titleist makes. However since actually going to the practice range and course I can only summarize my reaction as WOW. I have gained at least a one club distance on my irons and they appear to be going more on target with a little draw. What else can I ask for. My last three rounds out of six have been in the 70's. Thank you Powerbilt.

Excellent set of clubs. Feel is great, very accurate and at $119 on ebay a tremendous value. The PW is deadly accurate for chipping around the green. Have played and sold many $700 sets of clubs over the last view years, until I played a friends set of powerbilt while traveling. Can't be the performance and cost of these powerbilt irons. I highly recommend them.

Email question about specs was answered quickly. Was told by sales person the clubs have a lifetime warranty

While searching for a good set of Irons and trying Callaway, Taylor Made, Cleveland and Ping models, I came across the PowerBilt TSP 8.0 Irons. I was impressed. And when I came across them at E-Bay for under $150, I bought them. What wonderful clubs for those who are learning or begining again. I had not played in years and now I know I have a set of clubs that will serve me well into the future. Their loft is a little strond, but dependable in performance. They are very forgiving also. I can find no problem with them so far and I have been using them all summer long. These clubs are sturdy, even for those of us who are not. I highly recomend them.

Customer Service

I have not needed them and doubt if I will.

These irons are great. I had been using the same irons for over 12 years and had no trouble with them, except that they were getting old. Decided to get a new set and tried everything there was until I decided on these. Very happy I did. I can hit these as far as any of the clubs I demoed, they are nice around the greens, and I have had no problems with them at all. The only difference between these and the ones I tried is that these were over $400 cheaper!!! Cannot go wrong with these as they are a great club and very inexpensive, which is the best part. Feel nice when you hit the ball, nice loft to shots, forgiving, and they are nice to look at when you are setting up to hit. Grips are a personal preference but I love the ones on these. (Winns) My dad is a former scratch golfer with custom clubs and he said he would play with these in a minute.

Customer Service

Haven't had to use it but did call Power Bilt before purchasing and they were extremely helpful in answering my questions.

I've been playing for 4 years and have tried just about all those great high dollar clubs inclunding the new Callaway Fusions. As I was trying to decide which clubs to buy, my future son in law (low handicapper)handed me a Powerbilt TPS 8.0. It was by far one of the better clubs I've hit. I have played 6 rounds with these clubs and what a difference. They have a stronger loft so I'm hitting my PW 135 yards and great forgiveness. This is not only a great club to hit, but it also looks likes those pricey ones. Like an old commercial use to say "Try It You'll Like It" that's how I feel about this Powerbilts. I truly enjoy playing with these clubs because they are so easy to hit, solid at impact, the forgiveness, and the ball gets airborne immediately.

I am a recereational golfer, consistently confused by the variety of product claims insisting that technologically advanced equipment will automatically reduce my scores. At the same time I fully understand that better equipment can improve my golf game. But, at what price? I have read innumerable equipment reviews and have found myself confused and having more questions than answers. I can not see the wisdom in investing in an $800+ set of irons only to find they bring no value to my game. I had read positive information about the Powerbilt brand but had been unable to find a set in any of the "big box" retail stores. Recently I saw a set of TPS 8.0 clubs on 'e-bay' and could not resist the price (less than $150.). These clubs have exceeded my expectations. My 8 iron is an easy 150 with these clubs and the long irons have been very forgiving on miss-hits. These clubs came with Powerbilt "standard" grips are are "standard" length and lie. I have played 3 rounds with this set and find I enjoy them more with each round. As a recreational golfer I am not concerned about "working-the-ball". With these clubs a smooth and un-forced swing is rewarded with a straight shot with excellent loft. I realized some time ago that I would probably never qualify for a PGA event, and I play golf for relaxation and enjoyment. Great equipment can enhance the experience. But great equipment does not need to cost several hundred dollars nor does it need the endorsement of a top-10 tour player to prove its worth. Powerbilt offers excellent quality for the recreational golfer.

I was given a set of grafite shaft irons for a birthday present and did all right with them but decided it was time to get some new irons. I purchased the TPS 8.0 with steel shafts because (1) they were new (2)they were better than the old ones I had (3) they were recommended by the guy that worked in the store over some $800 clubs (I couldn't afford anyway) and (4) they weren't 800 dollars. I play golf for fun. Have never shot over 100 in my life (96 the on my first round) and do not beleive 1200 dollar clubs are going to make me swing better. I play in the low 80's because I chip and putt badly. Tie to green are usually in regulation 12 holes a round. Now to the clubs. I used to hit my 7 iron 150. Not bad for someone 59 years old. Now I hit the 8 iron 150. Sand wedge 80. Pitching iron 115. 9 iron 125 8 iron 150. Get the idea. My set has no 3 iron, who cares. The irons work great. Straight if you want, fade if you wish, right if you like. Easy to hit. I have always been able to hit irons straight and high. Just hit down on the ball and let the club do the work. I can now curve the ball right or left with these clubs and I have never been able to do that before. It is alot of fun and that is what I am golfing for. If you have the money and want to pay alot of money for irons, go for it. If you want to save $500 to $900 buy these. They will not make your swing better but if you can't hit them better than someone my age, it ain't the clubs and $900 clubs will not change that. Have fun, the worst day golfing is better than the best day at work.
