I have been playing golf for a little over a year now. I started out with a cheap set just to see if I was going to like the game. As competitive as I am how can I not. After learning some of the fundamentals of the swing I decided to purchase these clubs. They are wonderful. I have had several people look at them and comment on how deep the cavity is, but they swing very well. |

These things are just spectacular. They pretty much swing themselves. I have no problems hitting them long and straight, and can even work in the fade when I need to. And as an added bonus, the whistle of the long irons is quite intimidating to others in the group, and a confidence booster for me. The only complaint I have is that the set came 4-AW, and I can't bring myself to pony up the extra dough for the 2, 3, and SW Customer Service none needed |

I love this clubs. I have been playing off and on for the past 10 years and have never been able to break into the 90's until i got these clubs. I have not lost any distance but actually gained some. I usally hit my old 5 iron, (old Spaulding forged irons) no more then 175, now i'm hiting my 5 iron a good 190-200. I have broken into the 90's and getting ready to break into the high 80's. I would give up these clubs for anything. |

I took a very long break from golf, so I decided to buy a very forgiving club when I chose to get back into it. The Nike Slingshot is by far the most forgiving club I have ever hit. The distance is fine, and you can not hit a "fat shot" if you tried. The only drawback to this club is its lack of workability. Every shot you hit goes straight and very high for the most part. For anyone shooting high scores due to bad iron play I recommend this club. It is very hard to hit a bad shot with these clubs. Similar Products Used: Hogan

After buying a set of TaylorMade r7's from Golfsmith I decided to take advantage of their 90/90 plan after 3 weeks as I just never felt comfortable with the irons. I decided to take a set of the Nike SlingShot OSS in return and right from the get go almost everything clicked. My accruracy improved 100% and I have always taken beaver pelts for divots and that stopped from day one but I did sacrifice distance which I estimate to be about 15 yds per club. I thought it might be the shaft so I changed the stock stiff Speedsteps to DG S300's with sensicore but there was little noticable improvement. The ball comes off so smooth and it gets up fast. Once I got past the ego thing on the loss of distance and took one to two clubs more then I was used to my scores have steadily improved. I feel the high 70's are not to far away. At first I hesitated buying these because a few of the reviews I read said they lost distance with these irons and, after checking the specs the lofts were a little weaker than some of the other top clubs.Finding a brand new set on Ebay for $300 I thought I would give them a shot.
Customer Service Excellent!! When I received the clubs one of the clubs had a rattle in the head, I shipped it to Nike and they sent me a brand new club for free! Similar Products Used: I've tried everything! |
