I bought these irons for 220$ dollars brand new.Frist of all who can beat that price for a great iron. These irons are a little on the heavy side but dont let that scare you these irons will perform for pros or hackers. And the fact that these irons are for high handicappers is a bunch of bull these irons are very workable and controllable. And these irons spin the ball like crazy with the short irons dont worry the long irons stop on the greens too.The trajectory is a little higher than my old irons but plenty of distance and these clubs are great from the rough its just like your on the fareway. Its a shame that nike is going to quit making them they should have done more advertising i have hit them all and the nds are the best hands down.Buy these and you wont be disapointed!

THE BEST KEPT SECRET AT NIKE!!!!!

For my game these are Nike's best iron. No kidding. I have tried the Pro-Combo in both models and the Slingshot and neither compare in consistency or performance. Unfortunately Nike built these as a moderate game improvement iron and it got sandwiched on one side between the Blades / Pro-Combo and on the other side of the ultra game improvement Slingshot. When it came to marketing dollars they were completely left out of the picture and were recently discontinued. Nike's mistake or loss became my gain as I was able to purchase a brand NEW set of these beautiful irons for under $250 on Ebay. Oh yeah they also came with the Nike stock NDS Fujikura graphite shafts in a soft tip that was just perfect for my game.

Performance: You will note that the majority of positive reviews on these iron are from mid to low handicappers and that is exactly where this iron fits. Very good workability, consistent from any lie, true lofts from the 47 degree PW on down, excellent carry distance and they will stop on a dime with all the spin one would expect from a top of the line stick.

In short if you want a BEST BUY set of irons that don't look like a brick on the end of a stick, if you want value for your buck, if you want performance, if you want name brand, if you want a great looking set of irons there is absolutely nothing better out there for the price bar none!

Customer Service

Made some calls to Nike regarding specs on this set and others. Good response!

These irons are a lot of fun to hit. The grips are fantastic in the rain and the ball spin is unbelievable. If your thinking about demoing them. you should.

Got these clubs from Copelands for $299. immediately took them out to the driving range for a half hour before playing 18 holes. I played 3-PW solely from start to finish to get a good feel for them. The 3-5 irons are dependable in making good contact. The weight and feel of the 9 and PW make distance control fairly easy aproaching the green. Overall distance is down 10-15 yards from previous set (Cleveland TA2). Also tried out a few other sets (Cleveland TA7, Mizuno MP30, TaylorMade RAC) When I have attained good consistency, Mizuno MP30 seem like the best club to move up to, since they allow you to put crazy amounts of backspin, which seems highly unlikely with the NDS irons. However, these clubs allow for consistency in the 2 basic iron dimensions - distance control and height control. These are not the clubs for spin control and lateral movement control.

These are some easy clubs let me tell you first hand. These clubs brought me into the 80's and 70's. Recently I am searching for clubs that are easier to work and a lower trajectory. Ya by the way these clubs have phenomenal trajectory(really high) would recommend these clubs to anyone from a beginner to a 15 handicap.

These are the best irons I have ever played. I have played Ping irons and most recently Callaway x-16 pro series. Neither of those compare to the NDS irons. I was told that they were a game improvement club or a beginner's club. My friend who shoots in the 70's used my clubs one weekend and could not believe how much better he hit them than his X-18's. He shot his lowest round ever, a 71. Incredible clubs, try them and you will be a believer.

These irons are very simple to hit the long irons are a lot more forgiving than other irons out there and the short irons get up in the air quick and most impressivley they stay up there. These are some solid sticks that will have your handicap falling fast.

I purchased the nds irons and i love them. I do hit them a little shorter than some other irons but they are so easy to hit and you end up with a nice ball flight landing softly on the green. I had taylor made rac os's and I traded them in for these irons. I would recommend these to any level of golfer.
