nx 5
I am new to the game and had been hitting a set of cheap wilson prostaffs off the rack. I decided to go and get fitted for a good set of irons and I found the nak nx-5. I never knew how forgiving a set of irons could be. With this set of irons you can hit it all over the face and get good results. But when you hit them them on the sweet spot it has one of the best feelings of any club I tried. Plus the distance is great. With my old set I was hitting my five iron about 175 and if I really got into it maybe 180. With the nx-5 I am gaining about 5 yards and it goes straight.I sware once I short hopped the 200 yard sign! More distance and accuracy! Can't ask for anything more than that. Some might have to due with the shafts. I was using a reg flex graphite shaft that came with the prostaffs and now I am using the DG SL s300. I feel I can realy go after a shot and the shafts will hold. The shafts DG send the ball low but he nak heads make it easy to get the ball airbourne so the ball flight is just perfect. Long and easy to control. My next coment is about the looks of the clubs. Not that you should buy clubs on the looks but the nak has to be one of the best looking set of cavity backs out thier. They are mid sized so they do not look chunky but are very forgiving. The website says they are geared to the mid handicap player but I feel they are for everyone.I am not a mid handicapper but they work great for me. I hope these clubs will get me into the mid handicap range by the end of the season and from what I've seen it does not seem like that will be a problem. I got the nak 3 wood last year and I could not be more happier about that club as well. I hope to get the new 460cc driver that they are putting out and have a complete nak bag! Customer Service great! I went to a class A club maker and what a difference it makes Similar Products Used: Tried the TM Rac OS and LT and the Ben hogans. The naks were the best choice by far |
