These Mizuno Clubs are the best clubs I have ever used! I have had good luck with the Callaway x-14 Pro w/Rifle Shafts, and compared to those, the mizuno is still above in another league.

These clubs are great! I wanted to go back to a forged club and these are the real deal. They are very easy to hit and have a nice trajectory. They are very easy to control and work. I have the sensicore shafts in them and they seem to work just fine. I played Hogan Grinds for 13 yrs. and wanted to try a cavity back. I bought the x-12's and never could hit them very good. If you do not need to work the ball x-12's are O.K. The x-12's also have very little feel.

When I first got these clubs, they looked very nice and seemed to be well assembeled. I played them the first time in a High school golf tournament. I had a tough time getting use to them. I have had them for almost 2 weeks now. I am hitting them very far and having now trouble with hooking or slicing. I am hitting them a little to the left. I am not sure why, they seem to be offset as I look at them. Overall these clubs are great for people who shoot mid to low scores. They have a great feel for short game. The clubs are also forgiving on toe shots. I am having a great time with these clubs!!!!

This is a good iron set. But you need a good swing. The head of my old Mizuno T3 Ti-Insert is too big for me, but this iron's head is too small for me. However, it feels much better than the Ti-Insert when you hit it right. For the control, I feel it's not as easy to work with as my Tommy Armor 845 (The True is a little heavier for me. Honestly, the 845 is still one of the best irons in the market), the 845 has less distance though. The good thing is that if you can hit this iron at the right spot with a nice swing, it makes you feel like a pro. But I think the 845 will make my play easier.

Excellent club. I had been using a old spaulding drop forged set and like the thinness of a blade. The T-zoid true gives me that feel with a bigger head. What is even better was I purchased the set with a sand wedge at the mopshop for $234 delivered.

The Mizuno T-Zoid true are the best irons that I have ever played with. While I would not consider them true game improvement clubs, I found them to be very easy to hit. Feedback is excellent. When you hit these clubs flush you know it immediately. It is very easy to work the ball with these clubs; I recently played a round in severe wind and had no trouble hitting knock-down shots. They are beautiful looking clubs, easy to set-up at address and easy to hit any shot. I think that these clubs would be most appropriate for any golfer who takes the game seriously and wants to improve their game. These clubs are now on sale at Edwin Watts at a bargain price.

When I first received the irons I loved them to death. As I started playing more with them, however, I noticed that the long irons were not what I was looking for. At my high school home course I don't have to worry about pulling out the old 3 iron out on too many holes which is why I have had so much luck with the irons. The short irons have a great SOLID feel at impact which I like tremendously. In the long irons you are forced to hit the sweet spot right on. Buy these irons if you are a consistant ball striker, but look elsewhere if you are not.

Model Reviewed: Mizuno T-Zoid True

This is my second attempt to post a review for this club so please do not think I am site illiterate if two reviews show up. I traded a set of Mizuno Grad irons for a slightly used set of T-Zoid Trues in the spring of 1998. I immediately saw improvement in my ball striking and, more importantly, distance control. The thick sole and narrow top line just look ""right"" at address and the confidence that this appearance lends extends through the execution of the shot. The irons produce a boring trajectory combined with a feel at impact that cannot be matched by cast irons. This club promotes shot shaping and the forged heads provide the feedback needed to ensure improvement. These clubs do not play golf for you. However, they do provide a tool whereby any player who is willing to put in the effort will be rewarded with a steadily improving golf game. I went from shooting in the mid 80s to consistantly shooting in the mid 70s within two months of switching to the Trues. I even shot my all time low round with them; a 72! This club provides all of the virtues of a true blade iron while taking advantage of modern club design to inclue a measure of forgiveness one would not expect but will be delighted to find in this iron. Mizuno quality is evident throughout the set. I only hope that more average golfers will try forged blades. What they might lose in initial forgiveness, they will make up for in spades with feedback and shot making capability.
