Picked up both, new on ebay for a fraction of the original price. With S300 Sensicore steel shafts they have replaced my 3 and 4 irons nicely. I can get them up (high) and actually land softly on greens from 215 out. The offset is a little more than I usually like, but for some reason it isn't a problem with this club. The long par 4's and second shots on shorter par 5's are something I look forward to with these clubs. Everyone should be using hybrids/utility clubs nowadays, and these Mizunos are outstanding.

If you're having trouble hitting your long irons, these are really easy to hit. I have the graphite shafted versions and they get the ball up easy and the distance is there. There is a nice click and the ball just flies off the face, feels soft like slicing butter. The 18 is a little harder to hit, but still much easier than my 2 or 3 iron. Haven't had to hit out of rough yet, so i don't know how they react out of there. Other than that great clubs and great prices on ebay.

Model Reviewed: mizuno fli-hi II 18* utility long iron

This club surprised me from the first time i hit it. It's really not that forgiving, however if you do miss hit it it stays on line, but suffers heavy distance loss. This club is a players club, not for high handicapers. That being said i am still pleased with this club. My favorite aspect of this club is it's feel. It is forged and feels just like a forged iron. Quality is good, only complaint is the grip is a little slick. When you hit this club flush the ball shoots off the face. Nice solid Utility club for the better player.
