Mizuno MX 25 Irons

Mizuno MX 25 Irons

DESCRIPTION

With the MX-25TM iron, the Mizuno Product Development team took on the task of greatly improving upon the MX-23TM, Mizuno's #1 selling iron of all time. This feat was achieved by utilizing the new Grain Flow Forged® 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel and engineering a wide, deeper, and longer H.E.M.I COGTM Pocket Cavity for the lowest and deepest COG in a one piece forged iron. The MX-25TM iron delivers a massive sweet area along with the new three dimensional "X" Back cavity pad for maximum forgiveness on off-center hits and increased solid feel. No other iron can offer this game improvement technology while maintaining the solid, soft feel that comes only from a Mizuno Grain Flow Forged® Iron.

First the disclaimer: I just picked up my set today and have only hit one bucket of balls. Now for my reaction: these clubs are about smooth as smooth can get. There are more foregiving irons out there. These are well suited to the player that falls into that middle, no-mans land type handicp but better players I know sure like them too. The stock steel shaft is the Dynalite which gives a high ball flight. If you want to keep it down a bit, look at the dynamic gold (sensicore will further smooth out mis-hit vibration). It is 36 degrees today and the only reason I hit balls was because I couldn't bear to just look at the new clubs today. In spite of the temperature, I did not experience a single mis hit with bad vibration. These clubs appear to be all they are cracked up to be.
