Mizuno MX-15 Irons

Mizuno MX-15 Irons

DESCRIPTION

The new MX-15TM gives every golfer the chance to experience the benefits of dual T-Zoid® Power BarTM technology. The MX-15TM is a stainless steel game improvement iron with intricate perimeter weighting creating a low, deep center of gravity for exceptional forgiveness and ideal trajectory. The Dual T-Zoid® Power BarTM moves the center of gravity away from the face on longer irons (3-7) to help elevate the ball, while the solid T-Zoid® Power BarTM on the shorter irons (8-PW) provides more feel and workability for pinpoint accuracy with the scoring irons

I;m surprised there are only 6 reviews up to this point. This is a very solid stick. A club longer than my Taylor Made irons. They are definitely more forgiving than the MX-20, which are pretty forgiving to begin with. The MX-15 long irons are definitely easier to hit than the MX-20's. They are better than the X-16, TM RAC OS, and TA-7 in my opinion. Give them a look.

I recently got these irons, and they are sweet. First couple of swings with them, and I fell in love with them. I had the Cobra CXIs, which are great clubs, but the feel is no match to these Mizuno irons. I've also tried the MX20, and unless you have the money then buy the MX20, otherwise, you can't go wrong with the MX15. I've tried hitting the MX15 off center, and the ball still find its way to my intended area. These clubs can be hit from almost any surface, and I've tried it on dirt; and with the 5, from the dirt, I still got the ball to go just as far as on grass. EXCEPTIONAL.

Mizuno MX-15 is very forgiving and fun to play iron set. I find that my score has improved substantially. I used to be a good wedge player, mediocre Driver, but very inconsistant iron golfer. I knew by then that I need an iron set that will close this gap. MX-15 has helped me at this point because my swing becomes effortless with greater distance. I swing about 70% but can hit the ball more solid. Moreover, if I sometimes miss hit the ball solidly, the ball is still carried to the target with very little deviation. I believe this set is very suitable for high to mid handicap player. Or even single digit hd, they can consider MX-15 for better score.

Have had these clubs for only one week and until today had only used them at the driving range just geting used to them and working on my tempo with them as they are fitted with TT Release shafts, which if not swung smoothly can lead to a few high pull hooks with the long irons . The best thing is that the score I went round today was a 2 under par 69. I am still in shock. Great distance, good feel, and super accuracy were achieved. Fantastic.

I've tried everything on the range that I could (being left handed I am limitd), and these are the most forgiving at the best price. Very comparable to the MX-20's, but alot cheaper and more playable for my level of play. If you are a high to mid handicapper looking for a great set of irons at a good price, then these are it. If you are a better player and can afford it, go with the forged MX-20's, but if you are looking for equal performance for a good price without giving up much playability, then the MX-15's are what you want. For the best price though, on any Mizuno product(from the MX-15's to MP-33's, drivers or putters, custom or standard), I got these irons from the Mizuno Golf Pro store on e-bay. I paid $399, including S+H, and the cheapest anywhere else that I found was $499.

Customer Service

Haven't used but I received my custom order straight from Mizuno 10 days after I paid for them.

I've been playing the callaway big bertha irons for about a year and a half. They are very forgiving but because of the large cavity back accuracy and workablility suffer. Decited to try a set of mizunos. Wow, a wonderful experience to hit. Crisp and solid feeling and very workable. Works left to right as easy as right to left. My handicap went form the low 80's to the mid 70's because of this workability. Only down side is that they are hard to find. I got a wonderful price on ebay for these irons. Best club that I have ever hit. Worth every penny!!!!

Previously used Ping i3 and Callaway BB's and these Mizuno's are an excellent middle ground. I originally went in looking to try the Titleist 822 OS and the salesman recommended I try the Cleveland TA 7's (nice clubs too), Mizuno MX-15's and the Mizuno MMX-20's (for better players than my current level). I liked the TA 7's but I felt the Mizuno's were more consistent and forgiving. Ball flight is somewhat high but not as high as the Callaway BB's. Mid and long irons are very easy to hit. If you're looking for a quality, forgiving iron at a reasonable price you need to give these a look. I think these are a perfect fit for mid-handicappers.
