All I can say is wow. This is my first experience with a pair of Mizuno irons. You hear the term buttery and be like.. "what is that"? Now I know. With these clubs you make a good swing and there it goes. I tried to muscle them like my shovels i own, no luck. You have no chance of hitting these sort of clubs without your best. The bring your best swing out and fundamentals. I am sold. Though I purchased the MX 23's, I also purchased a demo 6 to use to get me ready for a set next season or these new 57's coming out. To all my other guys wondering if you should, please do and take your game to the next level.

Unbelievable clubs. I had a set of Mizuno MP-19s a few years ago, but wasn't ready for them. I figured I'd give them another whirl after playing Ping S-58s for three years. These offer so much ability to move the ball left, right, up and down, it's almost criminal. Distance is good, accuracy is ridiculous. I didn't test other clubs, but I can't imagine there are clubs that are better balanced, have better feel or look any better. I will never own anything but Mizuno irons again.

I bought these irons about 3 1/2-4 years ago because I was seeking a better player iron with the confidence I had in my swing. When I went club shopping, I hadn't even considered Mizuno because I was a devout Callaway and still am so to speak. I was planning on buying the Callaway X-forged. I was really seeking a blade, but Callaway didn't offer one yet. So, I was advised by someone at a golf shop to try some Mizunos. Since I was seeking a blade, I was automatically drawn to the MP-32s. After hitting a demo iron, I kept kicking the idea around. I finally went to another golf shop and was set to let go of the money. A different guy suggested that I buy the MP-60s over the MP-32s because they would give me just a little more forgiveness but still give me the ability to work the ball like I was wanting to do. So I demoed an iron in the shop and decided I would get the MP-60s. I couldn't wait to get to the range. I instantly fell in love with these clubs. They are simply amazing. The feel of these clubs is incredible. I have owned them for around 3 1/2-4 years. When you are striking the ball it is noticeable when you make "pure" contact and when you are off by just a little bit. I highly recommend these clubs for any person seeking a better player iron but at the same time seeking a little forgiveness. Trust me, you will not be disappointed in your purchase.

I am 23 years old.. have been golfing approximately 5 years. You might ask what a guy playin only 5 years is doing playing these irons.. but I do consistenly shoot in the high 70's - low 80's playin in the orlando area playing courses in the 6800 - 7200 yardage range. I thought that I needed some new irons to become a better player and to keep improving my ball striking.
Before I got these MP-60's I was playing Nike Pro Combo OS irons for about 3 years. I just played my first full round w/these today and I like them very much. I did get them fitted yesterday to fit my swing which I recommend doing. (De-lofted and 1 and 1/2 upright on lie, it makes a difference!) For me going from OS irons to muscle/blades, you really have alot more control of the club face. I was hoping to get that "buttery" feel that everyone talks about when you hit it flush with these irons, but I did not get it even though I hit several shots flush. Probably because it feels "buttery" when you hit any ball flush with any half decent iron. So dont buy these irons or any Mizunos, or any clubs to feel that feeling.
The main reason that I did get this irons was for trajectory control. My Nike Pro Combo OS were "game improvement" irons and had inserts which promoted high ball flight. On top of that I hit the ball high with to much back spin so I struggled a bit in the wind. These irons do allow you to hit a lower shot if you know how to hit a lower shot. The club faces are noticeably smaller than my Nike's for obvious reason bc my Nike's were OverSized. Because of this I did slow down my swing and prob lost about 1/2 club on my mid and long irons and about a full club on my short irons. I do believe though that I will get that yardage back once I play a bit more with these clubs and get use to them. Overall I would recommend them for players who are trying to work the ball more but in all honesty, if you have clubs that you can hit straight with a good ball flight you should probably just stick to those kinds of irons whether they be OS, musclebacks, cavitybacks or blades.

I have played Ping Eye II's for 15 years,so I might be technologically stunted I admit. As a reference point, however, I would normally hit my Ping 6 iron approx 160 yards. After playing with the MP-60's for a few months now, I am hitting my 6 iron about 180 yards. Of course, distance is not the sole determinant of this recommendation. They feel very solid when properly struck and if they are hit a little off the sweet spot, they feel surprisingly softer than expected. I will not go out on a limb and say that the clubs are magically making me hit the ball better and farther. I will say, however, that the club somehow encourages me to make a better swing. I realize that may sound strange, but it is true for me. If you are a lower handicapper, it is also easier to work the ball than most clubs I have tried.

These clubs are very nice to hit. The 6 and above are harder to hit. For people moving from a set of forgiving clubs, you will see some distance loss on mis-hits.

The best part about the clubs are they train your swing so when you hit your old irons you are probably going to hit them better.

For mid to high handicappers, dont sell your old set just yet, get these for the fun factor.

I bought this set off ebay just to try them. These clubs have rifle shafts in them. I have always heard about cutting through butter but never experienced it untill I hit these clubs. Best feeling clubs I have eveer hit. I am able to work these clubs and lowered my handicap at least 6 shots. I was shooting about 85 and now shoot 79 or less. For someone looking a good players club these are first class.

Very nice irons. Longer and more foregiving on off-centre hits then my old irons...MP33's which were nice but these are the best I have hit. About a club longer then my old irons. Workable, draw, fade, take a little off, hit hard, high, low, etc.

If you hate to hit greens in regulation...this is not the club for you. this set of irons will stick the greens if you can strike the ball. the trajectory on these irons is amazing, i have no problem sticking green after green taking strokes off of my game. i recommend you use a glove with these because sometimes the feel is overwhelming. you will forget where you are it feels so good and you just may let go of the club. these aggressive looking and playing clubs will bring you far more satisfaction than the other guy's.
