I bought a used set 3-PW of MP-60s with Regular True Temper Gold steel shafts from Global Golf for about $220. The club is awesome. I've been a big fan of Mizuno clubs ever since I took up golf seriously ten years ago. I love forged irons with muscle back, mid-sized and square club face and thin lining addressed clubs. The MP-60 is responsive, solid at impact, extremely workable to produce a variety of shots from any situation. Cast irons just don't offer this type of feeling with shots. The degrees on each iron is stronger than other irons producing a bit more distance. And with the progressive weighting of the muscle back, long irons do get a higher trajectory and shorter irons a lower controlled flight. However, as with all cavity backed or blade clubs, the MP-60 is not a game improvement set of irons and I would only recommend these clubs for mid-low handicappers. I'm a budding professional golfer in training and looking to become a tour player in Australasia and hopefully on the bigger tours eventually, I have been using the MP60s for about two years and found them to be a fantastic iron, Recently i tested the MP57s Mp62 TitlestAP2 and the tour preferred by taylormade none of these suit me like the MP60s so I'm sticking with them. They are a club for all levels of player in my opinion. For the player they give you all the shot options you would expect on the course. For the mid to higher handicap they increase feel which helps with feed back for the golfer. Great club i would recommend them to any golfer.Like any club or irons however use what best suits you not what people think you should be using that would also be my advise. Good golfing every one. I started playing in 1962 with Wilson Staffs and played decent over the yrars I went through numerous forgiving clubs Ping, Callaway Taylor etc Recently I bought a set of used MP60's with Aldila NV graphite shafts and the feeling is a return to yesterday you can tell when you hit on the screws if you can put on a decent swing you can't beat these clubs My last 15 rounds have been in the low to mid 80's Customer Service Haven't used Similar Products Used: Haven't played forged since the 60's Have played Miz MX 23 And MX19 no comparison |

I'm a golf instructor and play to a 2 handicap. I have been playing with my MP60's for 3 years. I love these irons! I can hit ever shot with these clubs. The top line is thin like a blade, but the sweet spot is much larger, for those "miss hits". I had custom fit shafts put in my clubs and that made all the difference in the world. I have always looked for a better iron, as I demo clubs all the time. I have yet to find anything better than the MP60's. Go custom and you will not be dissappointed. mizuno's mp60
I started playing golf not long ago, and the mizunos mp60 were my first clubs. These are no beginners clubs and in the beggining i really struggled hitting decent golf shots with this clubs since they demand a consistent and decent swing. At the same time, i began to see my friends' game improve a bit faster with their begginers (and really forgiving) clubs and getting away with all kinds of mis-hits.

I purchased these irons very slightly used on ebay about a month ago. I have only played 3 rounds with them, but each round dropping about 5 strokes. It's not very often that I write a review for anything, but these irons are outstanding. I've only been playing for a little over 3 years, but have spent considerable time trying to fine-tune each aspect of my game. Until now, my iron game was keeping me from hitting greens, and scoring lower...but once I got these beauties, I feel like I'll be buying, and re-buying these irons for another decade. I just bought a set of Mizuno mp60 irons. I have hit titleist dci's for 7 years. I took the mp60's out to the range and hit 10 out of 10 greens. It's amazing how the ball looks and feels flying off of the club.I felt like a pro!! The trajectory of the ball flight is perfect. Even my miss hits still had good distance. They take a good swing, but when you relax and strike them well, there is nothing better. I fell in love with the look of these clubs. Everyone needs to own a set of Mizuno irons sometime. |

I have had every good iron made in the last 5 years and I always seem to come back to Mizuno. I recently played the Callaway Forged with Project X and Titleist AP2 Project X 5.0. They are both very good irons, but I went back and picked up a new set of MP 60's with DG R300 shafts. The verdict is in and the MP 60 are simply the best of the bunch. The feel, balance, look and forgiveness of this iron is second to none and for a 5 handicapper they are just perfect! I've also tried the MP-52 and MP-57's and they are great but the 60's are the best and deserve to be called a "signature" set by Mizuno. It should be noted that I have a smooth tempo and the DG's seem to fit my swing just right. Go get fitted for these badboys if you want a beautiful performance club with a decent amount of forgiveness and workability.
