After reading the solid reviews on this iron and my experience with the 30's I ordered a set. Left hand, 1* flat with Project X 5.5. I love me Mp-30's with DG 300'2 but WOW....the 32's are awesome.

I have been playing golf for about eight years now and after going through a number of different 2nd hand clubs purchased a set of Ping i3 blades about five years ago. My game improved until last year where I achieved a 13 handicap. I decided to get myself a new set of irons at xmas and went to a golf centre and tried a whole series of clubs. As an afterthought I asked about Mizuno's and was given 4,7 & PW from the MP32's MP60's and there new MX series i think. Anyway talk about love at first sight! The MP32's look beautifull and my heart was set on them. I hit them well at the range and bought them. My relationship with them has been fantastic. They are forgiving enough for the odd miss hit and when struck properly go far further than my old clubs with much more feeling. My handicap has shown the best improvement since i took up golf and I am now playing off 9 and regularly score in the 70's. If you are an improving player who loves a good looking well balanced club then the MP32's are for you. Happy golfing !!!!!!! |

Im 15 and a 4 handicap. It doesnt get any better then the Mizuno MP 32. They are great clubs and when you hit them well they really preform. For as much feedback as you get from the shots you hit well there is alot of forgivness. If you are between a 1-10 handicap I suggest these clubs. However if you shoot high 80's and even low 90's I would go with the Callaway X-16 or X-18. Similar Products Used: Titlist 735, Taylormade RAC |

Mizuno MP32 DG S300
Have only hit these into an indoor net, so can't comment on ball flight/distance etc, however, I think I got a fair enough idea of how they perform. My prior experience with testing Mizuno irons had me come to the conclusion that the MX-23 was by far their easiest iron to hit, while the MP-33 was the best feeling iron I've ever hit--though the sweetspot is very small and for my game I would'nt even consider playing an MP-33 in the 3,4, and 5 irons( stand over the MP-33 3 iron at adress and try and tell me the dinky clubhead size does'nt strike fear in your heart). Anyhow, the MP-32's were immediately easy to hit--due to exceptional balance and noticably more sole weight than the MP37,33 style blades. The mp37 was just slightly more solid feeling but much, much less forgiving. I also hit the MP-30, and the MP-32 was easier to swing and much more forgiving than the MP-30! I really am at a loss as to the relevance of both the MP-30 and the MP-60(MP-60 felt clunky)--since the MP-32 is without a doubt far superior to both, and will provide all the forgiveness anyone except for a hack would need. I see some marketing problems on the horizon for Mizuno. Anyhow, I've always wanted to own a set of Mizuno irons ( a must do for all avid golfers), and I'm sold on the MP-32's--even though I have a set of Precept Tour Premium forged that I just love. If you buy the MP-32's you won't be sorry, and you'll be on the golf course knowing you're playing one of the best irons made and a future classic. Mizuno MP32 R300
I know I posted a review a few months ago saying that these are THE best irons out there and I felt the need to re-emphisies this fact. I bought these a second time after buying my first set more than a year ago with S300 true temper shafts on them (I was very green back then.). My second set with R300 true temper shafts and Golfpride Tour Velvet grips are absolute pin seekers. Its like trowing darts out there. After buying these, I started taking lessons and reading up on good fundamentals (esspecially grip and set up which were both wrong.). I then became the curious golf equipment junkie thinking, if I can hit these this good with my new improved swing, I wonder what other clubs would do. So I set out and tried them all! YES, I do mean ALL. First, after giving the X 18's by Callaway the ol' bad review, I decided to purchase a set again custom fitted (it was easy, my spec's are all standard) to me. The pitching wedge through 6 iron was absolute money. The only grip was that sometimes the 8 or 9 iron was a dead on 8 or 9 iron distance for me. Sometimes is bad! If theres one thing you want in your iron play esspecially is distance controll. I felt like I had to fight these a little rather than swing natural. I think it was just the shafts. Callaway uni-flex shafts may not be the way for me to go. Anyway, 5,4,and 3 iron were a complete nightmare. The shots were pure, I was acctually able to keep the trajectory low on these, but the distances were very, very inconsistant. Again, I felt like I was fighting them rather than playing with them. Needless to say, I'm selling them again on Ebay. I tried Cleveland TA7's and TA 6's. Nice clubs,..both of these. TA6's were hard to look at because they were just too darn big. Ball flight on the TA6's was really good and distance controll was there, just really big heads. I'm not saying the Callaways were small, but these were bigger then those. TA7's were good, I still had a little problem getting the distance controll. Plus I think these just felt too lite to me. I had a harder time lagging my wrist behind in my downswing therefore creating the ever dreaded pull hook. OB's, water hazzard's, houses,...excet. The clubs I would rank second to the MP32's (and it's a close 2nd) is the Titliest 704CB's. Loved everything about these clubs, feel, distance, controll, ball flight. The only thing I didn't like was the stock shafts. Full corded velvet grips with little pen1s symbol on them. Yeah,..I changed them! Anyway, I could continue to list forever all the clubs I've tried Taylor Made's, Ping's and Nike's. None have compared to the feel of Mizuno. MP30's are good clubs, a little unpredictably long at times which is O.K. for the ego, bad if theres a hazard behind the green. MP33's are like butter, the sweet spot is about the size of a dime though. In my experience's (and there will be more!) Mizuno MP32's simply have no peers. Facing my second shot on a par 4 443 yrds, I sent my drive a little too far left, leaving me a tricky 150 yard shot to the green around the tree line over a 100 yard carry water hazard. The shot obviously called for a draw. I usually hit 8 iron from 150 straight, but I knew that to get proper distance including the draw, I would have to hit 7. Lined up, took the shot, a beautifull mid trajectory flight with just the right amount of spin on the ball sent my ball straight to the green, and landing within 3 feet of the pin. Made birdie and shot a record best 79 that day. You'll have to dig me up after I'm dead to get my set of MP32's,..I strongly suggest you get your own!! I am only 15 years old and have had my mp-32s for a year and would not trade for anything. I have hit plenty of other irons and nothing hits as well as these. Not the most forgiving but when you hit it flush it sure is worth it. |

I have been reading the posts on this site for the better part of one year. I was always sceptical about a "blade" being that good for a high 80s guy and finally mustered enough courage to just buy the irons. They are great!!!. The feel is awesome. I have had numerous trips to the range and one round. For some reason I draw the ball with these irons which I never did before, but the high trajectory suits me great. The feedback has in my opinion improved my swing ... made it more consistent. I would say to the high 80s and low 90s guys to go and try these. If your iron play is decent this will make it better. Can't wait for the golf season to start out here on the east coast...will post again in May... Similar Products Used: played with square two Raves for 5 years.. |

Awesome. Played MP 30s for about 2 years, and adored them so was automatically tempted when MP32 brought out. Played one practice round, and bought them immediately on return to the clubhouse. Unbelievably straight, with very good spin. Able to work the ball both ways when needed with confidence. Only downside, probably have lost a club in distance on my pre-mizuno days. But could not care less, as the accuracy more than makes up for it. Customer Service Not used Similar Products Used: Cleveland TA3, TA5. Mizuno MP-32
I got my set last August w/c I ordered from TGW. I had it fitted w/ DGSL R300 shafts (lenght -.25") and GP V55 cord grips. Prior to these irons I played w/ Hogan Apex Pro's w/ Rifle Lite 5.0 shafts. The MP-32's may be a bit pricey but I am sure getting my moneys worth. LOOKS: The MP-32's are beautiful clubs w/c gives one the confidence to give it a good easy swing. The Apex Pro's I might say are no slouches in the beauty department but the 32's just makes you smile inside. The tiny cludhead may be intimidating but it really is not that difficult to hit the ball with. FEEL/FORGIVENESS: W/ the DGSL shafts my 32's tell me how good (or bad) a swing I delivered to the ball. Off the face, sweetspot hits (it seemed to have a sweetspot of a cavity back w/ a lot more softness)were just so so sweet. When I miss the sweetspot, I am a bit penalized in distance but I am generally not too far off target. I guess for a blade, the 32's are just as forgiving as my Apex Pro's or the Ping ISI's I used to play golf w/ initially. PERFORMANCE: The MP-32's deliver a high ball flight even with the long irons w/c I love. I never enjoyed hitting the 4 or 5 irons before mainly because they never bit on the greens. W/ the MP-32 long irons its "drop & stop" for me. The drawback of the higher ball flight is that I am a club shorter vs. the Apex Pro's but I seem to be more in control now. As for the MP-32 mid & short irons, they are so precise. Any misses will be due to a rushed swing or a poor set-up on my part. I am learning to shape my shots with the 32's and I am gaining that ability to do it at least 70% of the time. I am expecting to lose at least 2-3 strokes off my handicap due to the iron change. Now if I work on my swing, putting and mental attitude on the course I will hopefully get to single digit land. I would like to say that the clubs engine - the shaft, really feels and perform great. Try out the Dynamic Gold SuperLite shafts, it will really smoothen out that swing with less effort due to its light weight. SUMMARY: Getting the MP-32's seemed one of my better investments in golf equipment. They are beautiful, perform well and allow me to do things on the course with more confidence. These irons have made me work on improving my swing. They have turned out to be more forgiving than I thought a blade would be and it has opened the door for me to explore other shot options like working the ball left or right or even bullet-like knockdown shots. Standard shot is straight (slight fade), high, "drop & stop" and I do not mind doing that all day. :-) Customer Service I used the on-line club customization feature in TGW (The Golf Warehouse) to acquire these clubs. And I would give them top marks for the service and promptness of delivery as they committed. Similar Products Used: Ping ISI, Apex Edge Pro |
