Had these irons for sometime now.
And they are simply amazing compare these to any
Other moden day irons on the market and you would agree.
They are old they do not have all moden technolog
But they don't need it and nor do you believe me.

Why should I upgrade I have try mizunos, titleist,
Callaway, ping, Cleveland,
And really the only thing that came close to the maxfli where the mizunos.
If you are looking to change your irons you really must try these.
Buy a 6 iron of eBay it will cost you about a ten pounds. After comparing it with all moden day irons you will see what iam talking about
You will not be disappointed then you can buy a secondhand set for next to nothing and save yourself a fortune and have the best iron set ever made in your bag.
New moden irons just don't compare to the maxfli to me.

These are the best irons i've ever played. I now own two sets, one with ei-70 graphite shafts and the other with true temper dynamic gold r300. I prefer the steel shafts. They feel like the purest mizunos, but are more forgiving by a mile. Even the 3 and 4 iron are very doable, and I am thinking about shelving my mizuno 23 degree clk, even though that is a great club too. These irons are the best deal out there IF you can find them. Buy them if you can, even if they don't look so good....the performance will more than make up for it.

What can i say.
I have had these irons for about 3 years now.
i keep looking at new irons on the market, tested about 10 to 15 top sets.
But these maxfli irons are just unbeatable.

I can't believe that these irons must be over ten years old ,the feel and the playability is seconded to none just amazing.
I have finally released i don't need to change my irons nothing comes close to these.

Read the reviews here years ago about these clubs. At the time you could no longer get these clubs new and had to get them through an on line auction source. So bought them having never hit them. Have to say it was the best decision I have made in a very long time. Have been playing them for nearly 10 years with a short diversion over to Maxfli A10s. Another sweet club. Basically the pro version of the Revolution. To be clear I have the red dot - midsize- irons with the graphite shaft. The irons? Hit like butter, moderately long, and you can work the ball well if you need to. Nice thin top line so they set up nice at address. These clubs do nicks easy.... they have a soft exterior metal coating but nothing yet that impact play. Wish this club was still available I would buy a new set. I worry what I would do if these clubs were stollen.... they would be hard to replace.

I started playing 10 years ago and my first new set were these. I knew nothing, but did like the way they looked at address. I played them for 4 years (2002 til 2007) and my handicap went from a zillion to 6. I switched to blades and went up to a 10. I am now back to my Revolutions and even though they show some wear, they are still the best clubs I have ever hit. My handicap will come back down with these in the bag. They are a perfect blend of forgiveness and workability. I am looking to pick up a back up set and would recommend them to anyone who wants to feel a pure ball strike.

I work in the industry and have access to play any iron I like,1st time I've gone out of my way to comment on irons online suggests how impressed I am with these.
Biggest regret was I owned a set in 1999 when they 1st come out, and sold em 2007,have searched and tested everything, models/shafts/specs etc and nothing has come close, finally got some last week and immediatley sore and especially FELT the difference, for my swing these kick my mizuno mp60 out of the bag,no disrespect to anyother manufacturer but these are simply amazing, just be aware they do spin back a lot, so you need to be agressive on aproach and hit/pitch shots right up to or passed the hole. Also I could't work out why my bunker play went down hill given i used vokey spin milled.. when I tried my new maxfli revo sw,bunker performance magically returned (unbeleivable).
My 1st set was fitted with dynamic gold r300 sensicore, my new set has royal precision lite reg totally different shafts but same performance tells you that the heads are magic,we all know shaft is the engine but how many of you have changed shafts over and over with no improvement, buy these and never let them go coz when they stop performing it will be your technique not these irons,Robert Allenby took forever to regain his ball striking after he finished with these, exactly same happen to fred couples and these guys could pure their shots with a shovel.

I have been using these for awhile now and are the best irons I have hit since I owned a set of A 10 tour ltds, must be the nickel chrome heads.
I have the red spot midsize which are a little larger & a bit more forgiving.
They have been fitted with dynalite reg shafts, and are listed by true temper as classics, they are awesome shafts, very acurate.
The club sits nicely behind the ball, and they look great, not to much off set, they are very forgiving & easy to hit, and the feedback is pretty good for such a forgiving head.
They are not the longest irons out there maybe half a club shorter than some of todays offerings, but I wouldnt swap them for anything out there ! ,in fact I have just bought another set off flea bay thats how much I like them.

Cheers.

i bought these clubs in 2002 when they first came out and really enjoyed them, they feel great , and when you hit a good 3 iron you dont even feel it come off the face altogether awesome , But time moves on so 1 year ago bought som cleveland cg golds thinking all that technology and modern design should help , well used the clevelands this season they ok but took the maxfli,s ot again last week and they just felt so much softer and you could fadeor draw at will , and looking downon them after large cavity back shovels well they do look tiny but beautiful. I HAVE PUT THE MAXFLI ,S BACK IN THE BAG PUT THE CLEVELAND GOLDS ON EBAY AND THESE MAXFLI CLUBS WILL STAY IN MY BAG FOREVER i STUPIDLY thought technology had moved on but it aint , trust me these must be the best or one of the best sets of all time , go try , compare with others they are simply a classic . !!!!!!

Very very good set. Classic look, blade like appaerance but absoluty forgiving. Multi layer feels like forged! Iron 3,4 are aesy to hit. Distance is ok, truetemper r 300 regular shaft is very good. Only bad thing is the factory grips are poor. Try to get these babies because they stopped making this set after the merger by TaylorMade. I recommand these set to everybody with a decent swing looking for forgivingness and playability!

These clubs look and feel great. The 3 and 4 irons are long and soft. If you miss the sweet spot you'll know it by the pain shooting down hands and into the elbows, but the ball will still get up and go. The sweet spot is smaller than I've seen with other clubs but the design, and weight distribution on the clubs are perfect making it a lot easier to hit that smaller sweet spot than other clubs i have hit. The clubs hit with high loft which I happen to like, pick your spot and hit it. They lay up perfectly. Besides the pain from bad hits and poor factory grips I absolutely love this club.
I highly recommend this club for anyone who is looking to upgrade without spending bundles of money. I got my set for just over 100 bucks with S/H. Stock up on these while you can still find them!
