I have had these for about 2 weeks now, and am quite happy. I played blades for about 13 years, then switched to some more forgiving clubs, Top Flite Pro offsets cast, about five years ago. At first I felt like I was cheating, they were so easy to hit. But I finally realized that I missed being able to work the ball.

The maxfli's give a good balance of feel vs. some forgiveness, and I can hit more shots that I could with the Top Flites. I tried the Titleist 990's, I liked the look, but hated the feel, something was just not right, and they seem very heavy. The revolution's feel superb, and I don't seem to have lost any distance, I thought I might lose about 5 yards per iron. Plus, the revolution's are a great deal vs. Titleist or Hogan.

Probably not the ideal club for high handicappers, but for mid to low handicap players, I would highly recommend these irons.

An average Iron I thought. Difficult to shape shots and far to high a trajectory. Forgiving for mis-hits.

These clubs are very nice. Great feel for a cast club. However, because this club has characteristics of a cast and forged club, there are sometimes some weird shots. I found the trajectory to be a little lower than I would like.

Outstanding. Not as long as my cast irons but softer, more accurate and more consistent. I didn't think I was good enough for blades but I've changed my mind.

Customer Service

Very poor service, with long order lead times due to company financial problems and potential buyout. They admit they are messed up but ask patience, I hope they make it since these are a geat product. No freebies to try to compensate unhappy customers like the more successful companies.

These irons are great, I get solid contact, and even when I have hits on the toe. Very good response from the club head. Price is just right. Found mine at an auction, and got a great price.

I was considering these as well as the Cleveland TA-5s and the Apex Plus irons. I couldn't get used to the appearance of the TA-5s. I would love to have the Apex Plus but couldn't justify the price. These are great irons at a great price.

I actually got these irons at a really good price from a friend of mine. Here's my advice for anyone looking for a new set of irons: if you're over 6 feet tall; go in and have yourself measured for the right iron length and lie angle for your height, swing speed and arm length. That has made a huge improvement on my iron play. I got my Maxfli's with Brunswick Rifle 6.0 shafts with a 1.5 inch extension and my irons never felt better. As for the clubs. When you hit them solid they go long and straight and I don't have much of a problem working the ball left or right and I'm a 19 handicap. If you don't hit it square, it's not as straight, but it's still long. Give them a serious test run, but I love 'em.

Best irons I've hit. Feels like a blade when struck purely, with a boring trajectory. Only when you miss can you tell its a cavity back. Game improvement features are sutle, these are for better players. Best clubs for the price.

These clubs are really nice clubs, however, I feel they are not that easy to hit. These clubs are designed for more advanced players, for those who shoot in the 70's or 80's. The 3 and 4 irons are the most challenging to hit consistently and the shot irons are the best in the set. I will recommend Mizuno Sure irons or the midsize that just came out for those looking in similar price ranges.

Great clubs. I was searching for the iron with feel and looks, I found it. These are the best looking and best feeling clubs I have ever played. They fly straight, true and have remarkable distance. These clubs are for the better player, but if you do not like the feel of the Titleist 990 or 962, but the look, try these clubs out.
