I have played 3 rounds with my new MacGregor M455 irons and feel like I'm in a totally different league now. They are the best looking, most confidence inspiring clubs I have ever seen. I have used Mizunos for the past 10-12 years and play at least weekly. I am not a great golfer but I love to play. These clubs are 1 to 1-1/2 clubs longer than anything I have played before and am making shots with much greater ease. I used to use a 7 iron from 150 yards, and have always done so. With these I hit an easy 8 or hard 9 from 150 yards out. I couldn't believe it. These clubs are very easy to hit and during setup you just know that you're going to hit a great shot. I highly recommend these clubs to those of us that love the game but have realized that a small handful of pars and maybe a birdie put or two each round is a great outing. Since buying these irons I have lost 2 strokes off my handicap. These Irons are so ease to use that I am now using the 3 iron off the fairway and hitting it furthor and straighter than my fairway woods. I have ordered a 2 iron and a 50deg wedge to complete the set, I now have an extra 20 meters in my pitching wedge. The finish on these forged irons is equal to or better than anything else on the market. I would recomend these clubs to any mid to high handicap player. A few weeks back was the first time I got to try a verity of different club I found that Macgregor had a very forgiving head, I was able to take the ball were I wanted to go, I tried these clubs with a stiff graphite shaft sense I am one of those guys that go for distance, the graphite shaft had a great amount of snap and forgiveness and were great when you hit the club fat and dig deep in to the earth.
