Wow.... I have tried all of the new forged clubs on the market and these are absolutely at the head of the class. The clubs set up like a traditional blade but with the forgiveness of one of the new forged cavity backs. Workmanship is also first rate. if you are looking at a forged blade please take the time to demo these irons. You will not be disappointed. I custom ordered my set with shaft = X-100, lie = 2 degrees up, lofts 2 degrees strong and the were drop shipped from the factory in 8 days! Customer Service Very courteous Similar Products Used: Apex, Apex Plus, X-14 Pro series, 681's, Eye 3's |

MacGregor V-Foil 1025M blade
As a golf equipment nut, I try everything I can get my hands on. I currently own sets of MP-14s, MP-33's, and Titleist 681's. All of these are great blades, each with its own character and unique attributes in terms of looks, feel, trajectory, and forgiveness. However, the V-foils are the ones in my bag right now. They have a sensationally solid and fluid feel upon impact unlike all the others - not that the others are lacking - it's just that the MacGregors are amazing. I tried them out hitting them into a net, and bought them on the spot - the feel was that noticeable. I had them bent to my specs and I am very pleased with every thing about them. The diamonds along the edges of the scoring lines have turned out to be a better than expected feature, because the way it frames the hitting area really improves my focus and alignment. When it comes to blades all the ones I mentioned are top notch, but if you're in the market for a new set, at least give these a try - I'd be surprised if you don't buy these over the others if your decision is purely performance based.
