I have had these Black Cat Lynx clubs for four years now. All the heads keep flying off, to the point I am afraid to use them anymore for fear of hurting someone with a flying club head. What's the deal? Anyone know? |

I have tried many different irons from Calloway, Ping, and Cobra. these are the most forgiving, consistent clubs I have played. the 3,4 of all clubs are trouble for me, but I hit these better then the others. I tend to hit a high fade, which I can control and not loose distance with these. Similar Products Used: tried them all |

See Customer Service comments Customer Service I have owned the Irons for 3 or 4 years and have had probems with the 7,6,5 Irons. The heads have loosened and have come off on multiple occasions. Have had them Professionally repaired but they have loosened and came off again. Has this been a reported problem before and is there a fix? Will these clubs accept a different type of shaft? Thanks for your assistance. Jerry |

Played my first round with this set. Picked them up used for $150. First thing I noticed was better length and quite forgiving. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made, Air Bear |

The best iron I ever used. The NiCr head gives you an excellent feel. Progressive offset and forgiving club. I own 2-SW and all shafts have been replaced by True Temper Trigold (R-flex) with Golf Pride 50th Anniversary cord grip. I rate myself as a swinger rather than a hitter. Needed minimal effort to airbone the ball due to the forgiveness of the irons. Typical tour set, heavy and midsize sweets spot. Excellent club to own as I had 2 identical sets myself. Forget about branded stuff - distance and accuracy are build in, you just don't purchase the distance. Don't be fool by advertisments cause you ain't Tiger, mate. GOOD LOOKING CLUB WITH AN EXCELLANT FEEL ON CENTRE HITS. MISS HITS REALLY DO SUFFER WITH A DROP IN DISTANCE AND A NUMBING RING THROUGH THE FINGERS, THESE DEFINITELY ARE A LOW HANDICAP CLUB, ALLOWING YOU TO MOVE THE BALL.THE CARBON STEEL HEAD COUPLED WITH A QUALITY BALL IS A GUARANTEE FOR BACKSPIN AND CONTROL. I HAVE RIFLE SHAFTS FITTED AND MUST SAY I LIKE THE FLIGHT THEY PRODUCE. Similar Products Used: PING EYE 2. MIZUNO PRO 1 |

I bought these clubs new 4 years ago and have progressed from a 20+ to a 4 handicap. The clubs have a great feel and don't penalize you too much if you miss the center of the clubface. My only complaint is that since I have owned them, on at least 6 of the 8 irons the club heads have flown off. I was told that this is one reason why Lynx went out of business. It is very frustrating since I have to get the head glued back on each time. I am curious if others have had this same problem. Similar Products Used: None |

The irons I have aren't the newest version of the Black Cat's, but they are definately an extremely forgiving club with a big sweet spot. I am 14 years old, but I have been playing for more than 8 years, so my opinion still does still count. They are the longest hitting clubs i have ever owned.
