I Have been playing since I was about 12.I am 56 now and have been hitting a pw 125 and a 8 iron 150 all my life. Technology has kept me in the same distance range.I have gone back and forth between blades and cavity backs depending on my ball striking that particular year. Happened upon a set of these on EBAY and WOW. Miss hits are still long. Very workable and it will take you a while to get used to hitting a 8 iron uphill 162 yards out and have to lay off a bit to make sure you don't fly the green. I was thinking about getting them bent a little weaker but they are already weak lofted. Now have a 25 yd gap i need to fill between PW and 54 deg Wedge. Miss hits are way better than any cavity back i have played. Cant quite understand how they can be that good but they are. Been hitting them for a month. Nothing compares.Love the 2 iron, Ditched my hybrid.Have hit Mizuno MP 33 Nice club, Adams idea tech a4 forged cavity back , Great club, haven't met a titleist iron i like yet, love the 910 d3 driver though. Cant say enough about these irons, cant explain it but they are 1 1/2 clubs longer than anything i have ever hit. For me it means i can get the ball higher and carry farther than i could before. not afraid to hit a 2 iron anymore, Love it. |
