KZG Blades: Great club. I have the KZG forged cavity backs and honestly, I feel that the forged blades are more forgiving. The KZG Blades are soft and feel pure when you make solid contact. I have the True temper Black Gold Shafts in them. This combination is a great match (mid trajectory, but piercing). Purchased this set on ebay (2-PW) for $140.00. These are the swettest felling club I've hit. You will feel the miss hits. These clubs are not for beginners. Awesome for mid to low handicappers.

I have been a die-hard titleist man, and have played alot of there irons from 704s to 660s to 695cbs. But all fall short of the kzg blades. The metal they are made with is japaniese steel, which has much less slag than american steel. The iron metal makeup is so strong that they are guranteed NEVER to die.(or lose tensil strength) If you damage a head you can just order another one! no one else will do that!
Kzg blades are longer than any other iron i have played, and much more consistant. I dont know why kzg doesnt advertise!?!?

Believe it or not, I found these superb clubs, brand new, 2-PW with Dynamic Gold X100 shafts, for $45 at a golf expos! That's right $45! The set was missing the 6 iron, but I had my local clubmaker to build it for $75. There's only one description that I can think of for these high end clubs, "buttery sweet". Forget that myth that all blades are hard to hit, these aren't. Mis-hits don't rattle you but give you enough feedback to let you know how you've missed it. The ball simply melts into the clubface when hit flush. These are the best clubs I've ever hit! Period!

Found these beauties for $110.00 used in above average condition at a golf shop. What a find! I've owned MP-14s, Wilson FG-51s, and Titleist 962s, and I honestly prefer these clubs. Do they perform better than MP-14s? Maybe not, but certainly are just as good and I prefer the feel of these. I also prefer the top-line and how the club sets up behind the ball. These clubs have totally obliterated my obsession at owning a set of Titliest 690MBs. KZG makes very good equipment.

Just a wonderfully versatile sole grind allowing the head to go through various types of turf, though will not bounce excessively off hardpan. Short irons are slightly large vis-a-vis the longer irons, but not an issue. Horrible mis-hits still go and do not rattle the skull. Easy to aling to target, reassuringly solid to look at from address, including the 2-iron. Grooves are good and sharp, though machining marks are visible at the bottom. Not a performance issue. Prevous irons were Apex Plus, which are much beloved by me. Relatively speaking the KZG are more anvil-like, the Hogans having a firmer, sharper feel off center, giving perhaps more feedback where on the face the ball was struck. Sharper leading edge and flatter, less cambered bounce on the Hogans caused them to dig slightly, but rarely problematic. Biggest difference is the shaft: from a light, tip soft Apex 3 to DGR400 has meant less dispersion, no appreciable distance loss. Though these are custom fitted, almost any OEM club can be bent to your spec's and reshafted. Importantly, buy something you like looking at and gives you pleasure to play. Then go wear them out.

This is a beautiful set of clubs in chrome finish. Got them fixed with NS Pro 850 soft role stiff steel shaft. The club heads change gradually from perimeter weighing cavity back in the longer iron to muscle back in the shorter iron. The feel is solid, rock solid. Not as smooth as my previous club, Hogan Apex Plus (graphite shaft) which is silky smooth, but it gives a more solid feed back. It is very accurate, the ball flight is high and it stops on the dot. Good for mid handicapers who wants to improve and enjoy the game. Give it a try if u are in the market for an iron set.

Excellent forged blades that hit great. I played 845's for 8 years till I switched to these blades and I will never switch back! These blades look great and they perform just as well as any bigger name brand. Excellent bargain with just as much quality if not better than Titleist MBs or Mizuno blades.
