The new X Type Tour Series Irons offer one of the most advanced cavity and peripheral weighting systems. To achieve the cavity weighting, weight is deeply carved out the sole of the cavity - called an "undercut" - to push the toe heel perimeter weighting to its absolute maximum. The resulting concentration of mass in the toe and sole promotes maximum stability on off-center hits. Maximum perimeter weighting and the deep undercut cavity result in a larger effective hitting area giving greater accuracy, improved stability and overall forgiveness.
