Cobra Gravity Backs with steel shafts
I am 14 years old My dad bought me this set in February. I've been playing golf eight months. My irst set of clubs were Turbo Powers, the Cobras outdistance them by at least 15 yards per club. Feel, balance and swingweight are much better too. My dad tried my Cobras last week and immediately bought himself a set to replace his Giant GX2s that he's been trying. The Cobras with steel shafts have a better feel and are less painful on mishits than my dad's Giant GX2s with graphite shafts and Winn grips. The balance of the Cobras help my swing tempo. No better club available even at twice the price. Similar Products Used: Turbo Powers (Hawkeye clones) and Giant GX2s |

Have tried Turbo Powers and Giants. No comparison, these Cobra's would be a great deal at twice the price. Longer than the Turbos with more feel and control than the Giants. Even mishits with the Cobra steel shafts feel better than good hits with the other two. The combination of shaft and head weight helped my swing tempo tremendously. Shot my two beest rounds ever first two times out. Similar Products Used: Turbo Power (Hawkeye knockoffs), Giant GX2's |

I had my eye set on buying the taylor made supersteels until the owner asked me to try the corbas. Boy I'm glad that I got these clubs and that the owner told me about them. I hit straighter, further, and more accurate than any other club that I tried. But I got mine for $449 dollars. Customer Service they have been good. I have found that I hit better with a cheap k-mart brand set of clubs than this set. Off center shots are much too harsh, and the overall feel is impossible to fathom. Customer Service No personal experience Similar Products Used: X-14 Callaway, SuperSteel Taylor Made |

I've had these about a month, got them used, great condition, off of Igogolf. Immediate improvement over my KCIIs, which I liked but was inconsistent with. These are so much more solid through the ball, I love the ball flight. I'm normally a fairly low ball hitter with a draw and these give me better height and are very easy to swing into that draw toward the target. After having them two weeks I got my first hole in one! Six iron, 160 yards over water the whole way, it was a thing of beauty. As a couple others have said, these clubs really reward a nice smooth swing, there is no need to try and cook 'em up for extra yardage. I like the strong lofts on the clubs, they fit perfectly into my distances with each club and one thing in particular, I love the flattened flange on the bottom of the irons. This seems to me to help me with chipping, something I haven't read from others. In fact about the second round I played with them I shot a sloppy 44 on the front, getting the feel, and then on the back side went even par! And the reason for the even par was one-putting seven of nine greens, which was a good putting day but an even better chipping day. It's a lot easier to make a one-putt par or birdie from two feet than from ten! Duh! For me, that little fact stems from the fact that the gravity backs are very solid for chipping. I'm thrilled with them and recommend them highly, especially now that cobra has inexplicably obsoleted them by going to the CXIs. So take advantage of their marketing snafu, turning their backs on these beautiful clubs, get 'em cheap! Similar Products Used: Tommy Armour 845s, 855s, King Cobra IIs |
