I had been looking to get some new clubs and had been reading all the reviews etc. and had made my mind up on the King Cobra IIs. I then went and had a 'club fitting' with the Henry Griffits system with a top pro. I then took a Titleist 990, Henry Griffits fitted and Gravity Back 5 irons to the practice fairway and hit balls for a while. Admittedly I was trying a new swing after my lesson/fitting so maybe it wasn't such a good time to be making a recommendation. However I found the Gravity back just felt right in the set up and the swing just felt natural(some clubs just feel good when you set up and that is a good place to start--plus the Gravity Backs are a great looking club). I hit every shot well with a slight draw being promoted. I was a big pusher before this and a driver slicer(huge slice!). With the Titleist and the Griffitts I hit some nice ones but 'clunked' quite a few as well. Not sure whether it was the lower center of gravity but with the Gravity back I just got the ball clean every time. That sold me! I've bought a set off Golf Club Exchange.com $340. Way cheaper than what I can do in NZ. They are on their way now and I can't wait!

These irons have no feedback or feel to them, they are heavy with too much offset to them. I sold them after 3 rounds of playing with them. I am sure some will like them, but as you improve you will want more feel. Just my opinion.

I've just recently purchased 3-SW and have only gotten to play with them twice so far but I can tell you that already I've noticed that there only good things to come from them as I continue to play. I've noticed that the easier you swing these clubs the farther and straighter the ball goes. They make it easy to get the ball up and feel great when you hit the sweet spot. I've had a few problems with the 3 iron with the shot fading but that's probably due to my swing. They are a bit lighter than my old clubs so once I get use to them I think I'll knock about 5 strokes or more off my game.

Great set of clubs. I have used the Taylor Made LCG for a while and was about to purchase a set. I also tried Mizuno, Pings, Ram FX and Callaway. I tried out the Gravity Backs and knew that this was the set for me. They have increased my distance and accuracy. I normally play in the 90s but have recently stroked an 87 and 88. I am looking forward to getting and staying in the mid 80s.

Excellent clubs. They seem to combine nice length of shot with a higher trajectory. I've tried several different brands over the years and I'm going to stick with the gravity backs!!

I just bought a set of the cobra g-backs after testing plenty of various other clubs, and these were by far the best. The contact of the club with the ball is a very solid feeling, which produces a nice and very long ball flight. These clubs are long yet very easy to hit with all irons. I recommend anyone to try these before making a final decision.

Great clubs for control and distance. Gets the ball high. I first got these in steel shafts, and did'nt know I would like them so much, so I got them in graphite shafts (new) from EBAY

I have been playing with these irons for about six months and love them. Any misdirection or lack of distance is due to my lack of skill, not the club's design. Cobra will custom fit them for you at no additional cost.

Excellent clubs, very accurate with short irons. Low profile helps with pitches and chips. The long irons are very accurate and easy to hit.
