These are one of the best playing cavity backs I have tried. relatively small heads, esy to work the ball with, distance is superb, extremely soft feel. For $525.00 you cannot go wrong. Customer Service Haven't had to use. Similar Products Used: To many to even mention ! |

Acutally found time after work one day to go to a Cobra demo day. Prior to the demo day I had hit the S9 only, which is so soft it almost has a forged feel. Very nice, but a little to bulky for my taste. Tried the FP for the first time and it also had a nice feel. Not as soft as the S9, but less bulky. Compared them, side by side on the range, to my then x-16's. Better feel. Same distance. A lot cheaper than upgrading to x-20's. About $200 cheaper. Also, got fitted right there for free basically. One improvement I would make to these irons, listen up Cobra, would be to add the same polymer top line as in the S9's to this club to give it a softer feel. If Cobra did that, these clubs would be some of the best out there at any price. Worth a look. Customer Service Not used. Similar Products Used: Name any game improvement iron, I've probably tried it. |

Cobra FP
Excellent quality at an outstanding price. Solid club and very easy to hit. Extremely forgiving. Launch the ball high. Distance is also on the long side. However I hit the R7 XD maybe half a club longer than the FP, but that could be because I am still new to it. The FP definitely feels better in my hands though (The R7XD heads feel heavy by comparision.) The grip is also better than the ones on the R7 XD. Customer Service no experience with customer service yet. Similar Products Used: Various Taylor Made including R7 XD being the most current set. X-14, Cobra oversize from the 90s. |
