great club. gives confidence at address. not too bulky like Rescue club felt. chose 20 degree so i could drop 5 wood, 3 and 4 iron all in on shot. gives me more accuracy from that distance which is my weakness. great buy. Customer Service Golf Bargains are the best for competitive pricing. plus no tax and no shipping if over $100. took 5 days to get to my house. Similar Products Used: Rescue. Orlimar 13 and 17. |

I was looking for a 2 iron/5 wood replacement. This club definitely fits. It is an extremely easy club to hit and is as accurate as a 5 iron with the distance of a 2 iron (215 yds). I find this club easier to hit than the Taylor Made Rescue and shallow face woods such as the Orlimar Trimetal +. It is the perfect combination of the distance of a fairway wood and the control and accuracy of an iron. However, I do not use other Cobra products. Similar Products Used: None |

The 20* suppose to replace the 5 wood or 2 iron. The distance I get from the Cobra is just 5-10 yards shorter than my 5 wood, but it's much more accurate. Off center hits are not as WILD as fairway woods but can lose a lot of distance. I like the design better than the TaylorMade Rescue and Adams because of the less offset. Cobra Baffler 18* Multi-Metal Iron
I've been toying with several similar clubs. Reason being, I'm not consistent enough to carry a 2 iron and I like my 5 wood, but it's too easy to get wild with the wood. My mistakes with a 2 iron are much closer to the hole than mistakes made with a 5 wood. For me a 5 wood can be big trouble when hitting to a green with OB nearby, when I'm not swinging well. So I decided to look into these iron-wood combos. Tried the Tour Edge, but found the face size too "bulky". Same with the PRGR 200i. The NGC controller was surprisngly reliable. I attribute that to the higher swingweight. Kind of head heavy. Of course, with the imbalance, mistakes also creeped into my swing much easier. Then I came across the Cobra. Wow! What a true "rescue" club. It "rescued" me from an inconsistent game between my 3 wood and 3/4 iron. Dynamic Gold S-300 shaft, velvet grip and most importantly a swingweight that is identical to my full set of irons (all my irons are D2 or D3). This Cobra is D2. Perfect. The best results I get are when I swing it like a wood. Yet I still have the control of an iron. Fast becoming my favorite club in the bag. Value is easily 5 stars since I won an Ebay auction and got this club for less than $100! Similar Products Used: Tour Edge iron-woods, PRGR 200i, NGC controller, etc. |

I have to say that i have had a hard time finding a 2 iron that i could hit consistantly and far. I baught a ping, mizuno, titleist but non of them were right for me. I won this club in a bet with my friends and i love it, i can hit it high, low, hook it, fade it. And it is very consistant. This club is great from the tee, fairway and even for trick shots around the green. I would recomend this club for anyone. Similar Products Used: None |
