Clevelan TA& Tour Irons
Picked up these clubs on ebay for a great price. I was looking for a club with less offset that I had been playing with, and these irons were perfect. These irons are also very forgiving even with a thinner profile and compact head. I plan to have these in my bag for a very long time. As a 16 handicap, I know that these irons will suit me as my game improves further. That is what makes these such a great value. Great Irons. Was hitting TA7's but needed less offset. The key for me was the correct shaft. Came with DG S300's, switched to 5.5 Rifle's and Bingo a match made in Heaven. Soft feel and long. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed..... |

OK... I bought these brand new 6 years ago when they were first released for $699... I went to every range and hit a crap load of clubs until I hit these.. they are so smooth.. and I swear by them.. I quit playing and ebayed them for 350$ at the time... well I just played a round this past weekend and rented a new set of king cobras and hit my buddies new callaways...they hit nice but I ordered a set of these off ebay cuz they dont compare..these irons rock!! The bonus is I got them for $110!!!! You cant find a better set in terms of feel and consistency, at least I cant!!! |

Cleveland TA7 Tour Irons
I came across these irons on Ebay. I read reviews on irons for over 2 months before purchasing these. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did. Before these irons I was using a no name set of Dunlop DDH irons with firm flex graphite shafts. As I have a 95MPH swing speed with a 6 iron, I knew it was time to switch to steel and a stiffer flex. Bought them off Ebay for $197 after shipping ($16). I ordered them on a Monday night and received them Friday of that week. Took them to the range and was pleasantly surprised. All my shots were higher, straighter, and longer. I have added around 3 yards to each iron. It doesn't seem like much but over time I'm sure that will increase. Knowing the fact that I am only 13 and have much more growing to do. In fact the first iron I hit was my PW and first shot I stuck it to 1 foot from 130 yrds out. These irons are phenomenal. Had a little trouble hitting the 3 iron but no matter because I took it out of the bag anyways because I have a 16 degree Tayormade Rescue that I hit 15 yards farther. Highly reccomended to a low handicapper. The TA7's are more offset and for people who have trouble hitting straight shots. The Tour's are for low shooting players apprehensive to switch to blades but not willing to switch to one of those big honkin' iron sets. Congradulations Cleveland! Great product! I bought these irons used at a golf shop in Dublin CA for 200 dollars. I was using blades at the time but i could not practice as much as i would like. These were the first cavity back clubs I have owned. My friends all played oversize ping cobra and callaway irons and never felt comfortable lookin down at the huge toplines.

TA7 Tour, Apache MFS 58+ shafts
I originally took a liking to Cleveland after buying one, then two, then 3 of their launch fairway woods.....awesome. Then came the 460 driver.....best darned driver I've ever had. So, I figured I'd give their irons a try. Bought the TA7 Tour with GAT95 S flex.....did not like the shafts...a little too boardy for me. Put in the MFS58+ shafts and love the clubs now. Cleveland provides great clubs at prices that cannot be beat. Kudos. Similar Products Used: X-16 pros, MP-33, RAC LT (all great clubs but the MP-33s are NOT forgiving) |

Ta7 Tour Micro Cavity - s300
I recently got a used set in fairly new condition off of ebay for $375 CDN. I did a lot of research, and compared many clubs, these seemed to be overlooked by many, perhaps due to mass marketing by competing brands. Don't under estimate these clubs! I have to say that I am very satisfied with the set. Eventhough I am a high handicapper, I make contact everytime and it's always a pleasure to hear and then witness the shot go where I need it to. I'm making a ton of changes to my swing currently, but I am still get consistency with this. A lot of people say these clubs are for the lower handicappers, but I think anyone can benefit from them. With my 5 iron I am getting on average 160-165, where i need the ball to land. The ball flight I would say is mid, mid-high. The club looks great at address; i'm not a big fan of offset, so these suite me well. The clubs are not oversize like other irons on the market, they are infact very thin. The sole, I would say is not wide either, yet the weighting of the club feels easy to swing, and I can always get under the ball without any problems. There isn't any more to ask for, although at retail they are fairly pricey. Some drawbacks that I can think of does not concern the function of the club, but concerns cleaning the microcavity, and the cavity back itself. Dirt or and blades of grass get stuck in the cavity back, between the shock absorbtion pad. Breakdown: feel 4/5: great feel on contact, haven't hit blades so I don't know how it compares, but for me I know exactly what I did wrong if I mis-hit. workability 3/5: I can get consistent fades, but sometimes i can't control the severity of it. forgiveness 4/5: mis-hits obviously don't go as far, but they go straight all the time with maybe 2/3 of the regular distance. distance 4/5: distances including roll 3-iron: 200, 5-iron: 165, 7-iron: 150 some numbers off the top of my head that i remember overall: 4/5 Definately worth a try!
