Cleveland TA6 Irons

Cleveland TA6 Irons

DESCRIPTION

The expanded cavity design of the new TA6 creates a thinner, widened sole that locates the center of gravity lower and back. This makes it easier to get the ball in the air and creates a larger sweet spot and increased stability.

Bought these on eBay for $300 shipped. Absolutely the easiest clubs to hit. I'm able to hit some draws and fades and my distance is longer than my previous clubs by at least 5-10 yards (Maxfli Revolution black dots). If you're looking for game improvement clubs, give these a shot.

have owned for about 6 months now and am very happy with the purchase. I purchased these clubs brand new on ebay for about $200 so they are an extremely great buy. Need to give a quality swing into it but very easy to hit and get airborne. Very forgiving and go where you aim them. My irons shots are crisper and I now consistently shoot in the low 90's after spending a lot of time in the 100-110 range. The stock graphite shafts are, in my opinion, decent at best. Reshaft with a higher quality graphite shaft or buy with steel (depending on what you want). Wish I could find a TA-6 gap wedge. Will look at the CG11 after trying the 588 chrome wedge (51 degrees)

Customer Service

Called customer service to get information on tip size and was helped. Not as receptive as Callaway (one of the gold standards in customer care) but is more than adequate.

I am a beginner golfer in my second year and I started with a set of cheap clubs. I bought these for $122.50 on ebay as demos and what a difference they make. The TA6's are easy to hit even in the long irons and the golf ball leaps off the club. If you are in the market for a set of irons and dont want to pay the full price I suggest looking for a set of these on Ebay the best investment I have made for my golf game. I finally broke into the 80's the second time out with them...hope this helps...

These clubs certainly opened my eyes! I was never drawn into the hype of all the "latest" technology to help the struggling golfer. Correct your game, and you can hit it with any stick! Not so...
It was time for a new set, and the Cleveland TA6 was highly recommended by several people I talked to.
Excellent price range, great feel, easy to swing and a pleasure to play with.
My shots zeroed in to the green and pin better than any irons I have ever tried.
The Launcher 9.5 driver is another story.
A bit tricky at first, but after an hour on the driving range, you can adjust the set up to get em out straight!
Overall rating is a 10.

Outstanding easy to hit irons, golf's hard enough why make it harder? I started playing golf with forged blades and used the Cleveland TA1s with much success. But I have got to tell you these irons are so easy to hit it's ridiculous! Excellent irons, I have to agree with the reviews posted they are outstanding. I bought mine on Ebay at a great price added a CG10 sand wedge and off I went. I can't say enough good things about them so I'll stop here.

Customer Service

Called Cleveland to get the lie and loft degrees, they were very helpful taking the time to explain all the models the method of manufacture etc. Very good overall.

What can I say, I love these irons. They are very easy to hit and reasonably priced. For an oversize club face w/offset they have a great look and probably the best looking set of game improvement irons out there. Also, I found shots with the shorter irons easily stick to the greens.

Got these irons new as a Christmas present to replace my cheapo starter set. These irons have really made an improvement in my game. I've gained a little over a club's length with almost all of my irons. They look great at address. My confidence in my game has soared, allowing me to consistently break 100.

Customer Service

Haven't needed it.
